People keep talking to me about "that trans thread" that I wrote, and at this point I never know which ill-conceived twitter manifesto they mean, so it's time for a THREAD OF THREADS to be my new pinned tweet: ๐Ÿงต

Everything you culturally absorbed about trans people, how they realize they're trans, and what their treatment consists of? Is wrong: https://x.com/NightlingBug/sta...

An older thread about my hairline, the conflicting information about estrogenizing HRT that's found online, and how cisnormative medicine demonizes it: https://x.com/NightlingBug/sta...

Recognizing gender dysphoria even when it's been sublimated into other kinds of depression, anxiety and depersonalization: https://x.com/NightlingBug/sta...

On being fat and trans, particularly fat and transfeminine, and how weight shame and dysphoria can blend and separate: https://x.com/NightlingBug/sta...

Using selfies to combat gender dysphoria and build positive body image: https://x.com/NightlingBug/sta...

A bunch of essays I wrote in 2019 about trans representation in tabletop roleplaying games: https://x.com/NightlingBug/sta...

A pseudo-mathematical model of gender experiences: https://x.com/NightlingBug/sta...

Micromoods about gender: https://x.com/NightlingBug/sta...

@NightlingBug These are still some of the best written descriptions of trans stuff I've ever seen. Are they collected anywhere else in case Twitter gets nuked soon?

@NightlingBug Lol I thought that twitter is mostly some low effort woke stuff but you're someone that made hih effort threads on twitter! Congrats to you, from someone that's probably a trans girl!

@NightlingBug Do you happen to have a thread with studies that disprove the percieved link between being fat and unhealthy? (Or the strenght of that link?)
