I wrote some software to display arriving @TfL trains. A thread about the project.

My code integrates with a Siri shortcut to allow for hands-free configuration. Simply tell Siri the name of the tube station and the direction of travel.

My obsession drove me to re-create the display’s dot-matrix font by hand. I took 100s of photos, across dozens of stations to get it right.

The arrival board is built from a @Raspberry_Pi Zero W and a SSD1322 display. This was my first go at a hardware project and required a bit of soldering... please don’t zoom in 🤫
