76. True to his words, Yoongi meets up with Jungkook the very next day. “Why didn’t Namjoon offer to tour you anyway?” Yoongi asks as they were strolling down the street side by side. “I guess he’s pretty busy,” Jungkook replies nonchalantly.

Yoongi takes Jungkook to see every single significant place he could remember off the top of his head. They went to the nearest gyms, grocery stores, cafes, restaurants, clothing stores, and even the public library.

They decided to eat at the first restaurant they saw (because of Yoongi’s stomach suddenly grumbling in need for food, but no, no one else will know about that other than the two of them –

it’ll be their little secret just how hungry Yoongi can get when doing too much physical activities). Jungkook admittedly enjoyed the food which Yoongi paid for, much to Jungkook’s dismay

(Jungkook wanted to pay for them both to thank Yoongi for taking the time to help him get used to the place, but Yoongi insists because he’s older and Jungkook is too adorable, apparently).

After eating, Yoongi drags Jungkook to his favorite clothing store which sells his favorite clothes at just the right amount – not too cheap and not too expensive. Jungkook, as Yoongi expected, ended up liking it a little too much.

They have quite similar preferences when it comes to clothes after all. (“It looks good on you,” Yoongi says for the sixth time as Jungkook comes out of with the sixth shirt he tried on.

“Hyung, you said that with the others too!” Jungkook teasingly complains. Yoongi just smiles sheepishly. “It’s not my fault they all fit you perfectly.” Jungkook ended up buying all of the clothes he tried on.)

After shopping, Yoongi then decided to drag Jungkook to the prettiest places he could think of. They went to the bridge, to the river, and even to the famous temple around their location. Jungkook insists on taking photos everywhere they go.

Yoongi teases him for being such a memory freak, but Jungkook just smiles and snaps a photo of Yoongi while he’s in the middle of talking. Yoongi demands Jungkook to delete it immediately, but Jungkook just runs off, making Yoongi run after him too.

Yoongi /did/ manage to catch Jungkook, but this brat decided that it would be fun to stand on his full height and stretch his arm above his head so Yoongi wouldn’t reach the camera.

Yoongi gives up with a playful scowl at some point, crossing his arms and glaring at Jungkook as if it would change the situation. “I’m mad at you,” Yoongi announces as Jungkook is giggling while viewing the photos he took.

“You are?” Jungkook asks with a fond smile on his face. “I am.” Jungkook nudges Yoongi lightly, making him snap his attention back to the younger.

“Okay, let’s make a deal. Let me take photos of you today and I will delete the first one I took.” “Are you blackmailing me?” Yoongi asks, completely amused by the situation he’s currently in.

Jungkook grins, showing off his bunny teeth. “Maybe.” Yoongi ends up agreeing, even posing ridiculously at some shots. It was pretty fun, Yoongi would admit. It feels amazing having someone pay so much attention on him.

He’s never had this much attention before and he might just grow to like it. Jungkook looks amazing behind the camera too. It’s like he was born to be an artist after all. Yoongi grins at the camera, showing off his teeth and gums as Jungkook takes a photo.

He steals the camera from Jungkook at some point too, insisting on taking a few shots of Jungkook, because it wouldn’t be fair if only Yoongi has photos, right? It’s a day for Jungkook after all – he should have lots of photos too!

Yoongi doesn’t remember ever smiling this much before. He usually prefers spending his time alone, preferring his own company above others. But right now, with Jungkook, Yoongi finds out that maybe spending time with someone can be fun sometimes too.

He definitely doesn’t mind doing it again. Not at all. Maybe they would really be good friends - him and Jungkook.
