If “diversity” just means recruiting more non-white people for the white people who remain in charge to boss around, keep it.
White folks have had Brown and Black folks working for them for some time now. That’s not progress, beloved.
Keep the statements. Keep the unpaid bridges to nowhere internships. Keep it all.
The entertainment industry, for the 5 business minutes that I’ve interacted with it, is a complete mess in this area. I sometimes worry being this frank will make me lose opportunities, but those won’t be the ones for me anyway. I said what I said.
