Quick clarification here re: timelines. I mentioned other places I found out about the black list right before I left for PAX-U. That's correct. However, the black list was created earlier (the same night we asked about invoices). Just want to be as clear as possible.

@Chemlak That's what ended up happening. That's sadly common in ttrpg publishing, however. MCDM is a fantastic place that DOESN'T do this, and I will sing their praises to the sky.

@Miss_Jess03 That 30 days from the day [they] owe Writer the Payment nonsense is so vague without additional clarification that technically the day they owe the payment could never arrive, and would thus never legally have to pay because “that day” never came like WHAT?

@andreas_mwg You're not a lawyer, but you have some of the best contracts I've seen as a freelancer. They cover EVERYTHING
