how hard life is being trans. a 🧵.
being trans is really hard, because especially not every family accepts it and you have to be called the gender you were born with instead of what you prefer to be. you have to hide it from ppl because you want to be called a girl/boy but you'll be seen as weird because you-
don't look like the specific gender and can't do much because parents can find what clothes you'll hide easily. ofc i myself don't have girly clothing, but I will not be able to get any if I tried. you also can't get any haircuts to support your identity bc parents, it sucks.
plus, there's people who look at you weirdly if you come out. that, and also trans ppl get declined on jobs and such for being trans. people don't accept that trans women are women and trans men are men. it's genuinely so frustrating, hell, we all even get killed.
it generally sucks that you're forced to be what ppl want you to be, and you can't really be safe in public because people don't think you're like them, even though we're human beings.
end of the thread. felt like putting this out publicly.
@Biddy312 :33 < The whole receiving r*pe + death threats just fur being trans was one of the craziest things to experience after coming out. 😭
@DOCTOR_FW on my old main twitter that got sussed last year sadly, i came out and the amount of ppl calling me a femboy, telling me im in a phase, i have a mental illness and such were a lot. also a lot of "nobody cares" were there and i only meant it for my targeted audience.
@Biddy312 @ReySweetBerry I feel bad for those of you who don't have supportive parents. My daughter just recently asked if I would be ok if she were gay. (She's 9). I told her I would love her no matter what. She could be bi, lesbian, Trans and it wouldn't matter to me. I will love her unconditionally.
@HAckermann1180 @ReySweetBerry You're a great mother.
@Biddy312 As a trans woman. I can fully agree with everything that is stated here. Too many people have to hide their true identities just because of some parents who will not understand their side.
@Biddy312 @AlexOnGenesis Idk why so many people nowadays are trying to make an enemy out of y'all. Y'all are just trying to live your best lives and aren't hurting anybody by being yourself.
@Biddy312 Yeah, im honestly really glad my friends support me being Trans as soon as i can skedaddle away from my parents, and get moolah im getting all the stuff i need to transition and all that i just wish people treated us like normal human beans like jesus mamamia
@Biddy312 I understand how hard it is, at least to an extent I have a trans (ftm) friend irl and he’s had to switch schools due to it. I’m just some random on Twitter but if anyone reading this needs someone to reach out and/or talk to, I’m here to support.
@Biddy312 Uhhhh idk much about this stuff but have you tried using wigs to make your hair the way u want? Sorry if I sound stupid I'm just tryna help
@Biddy312 agreed, thank you for making this thread. I couldn't put it into words but this hits the nail right on the head.
@Biddy312 I got nothing else to say, since it's prob been said, but fr it's hard. Ever since I kinda come out to my classmates they just started bullying the fuck out of me, what made it worse how my mom and step dad notice how I was acting girly,I had to kinda back off from deep sea water
@Biddy312 I don’t blame you for saying that. It’s a massive thing people go through and it’s never easy for anyone. It takes guts to admit these things, you have major guts. If people can’t accept you, fuck them. You will always be the same person on the inside. Just hang in there.
@Biddy312 what if there was no gay/trans people? and what if the world was in peace?, like fr, what if you weren't trans? people wouldn't make fun of you NEITHER your mental health or illness gets ruined, its just an attraction no need to dive into it and ruin your life, im not blaming u.
@Biddy312 I have many trans friends so I can relate with most of what you said, it really sucks that a lot of people will judge you just for the fact of being trans, and that sometimes you cant be yourself without other people discriminating you, I hope the next generations change that
@Biddy312 This is exactly why Pride Month exists. We, a minor community, stand up for something about ourselves society hates us for.
@Biddy312 I’m not trans but my life’s hard too lol and I bet things will get better
@Biddy312 tl;dr: fuckin sucks cock n balls (not in the fun way)
@Biddy312 I don't know what to say.
@Biddy312 Trans in this case but the point still stands. This is dumb.
@Biddy312 I'll add abit more cause it's a situation i'm facing I'm from a muslim country and this country is really really against the lgbtq community. Any acts that include lgbt in it can get you arrested,it kinda sucks honestly.
@Biddy312 I don't know what ppl problems is Is just guy wanting to be a girl And a girl wantin to be a guy
@Biddy312 Man, life just sucks for everyone
@Biddy312 i can relate to literally everything u put here and its so hard and sucks so much :(
@Biddy312 I honestly fucking hate all of these people who do and support this sort of heinous shit. Like, you’re INTENTIONALLY CONTRIBUTING TO THE SUFFERING OF THESE TRANS KIDS. JUST ADMIT THAT YOU GUYS WANT THEM DEAD ALREADY. LIKE WTF MAN.
@Biddy312 It's hard It's hard.
