Breaking down winning ads #1 We spent $2M on this ad alone and it generated over $7M This is the video ad that was launched 2 and a half years ago, and it’s still one the best performer in the ad account. Let’s break down why it was so successful. A thread:

1. Thumbnail This thumbnail: • Communicate what the product is with the text and image • has an arrow pointing at the product (thumbnails with arrows usually perform better) • 😍 emoji - one of the most used emoji across the world, communicating something enjoyable)

2. Copy The first line of the copy immediately qualifies the potential customer and gets them to identify. You immediately get the prospect thinking - "yeah, that’s me, this sounds interesting." Now you got their attention, and they are more inclined to watch the video.

3. Video - Hook You see a girl going full into The Oodie and then jumping It’s exciting It’s a great pattern-interrupt It also communicates how huge the product is (big value prop) We used this hook in multiple videos, it was constantly one of the best-performing ones

4. Video -Middle part This product doesn’t need to agitate the problem, so it was just stacking the value props and answering their potential questions How big it is? Oversized-emphasizing how huge the product is What is it made of? Material-showing inside and outside material

5. Video - Middle part v2 Showing the prospect where they can use the product and what their life would be like if they buy the product. • Perfect for chilly morning • Designed for cuddling Here you are putting the image of the prospect using the product in their mind.

6. Video - unboxing part Showing what their unboxing experience would be Users like to see that. They can picture themselves opening the product Plus - the product was gift-wrapped which was a nice addition considering the product was giftable and often bought as a present.

7. Video - ending By now most of the prospects are already sold. What potentially bothers them is they don’t know if there’s a design they like. That’s why there is a variety of colors shown, so they know they could pick their favorite.

8. Video - CTA Video ads without a CTA in 90% of our tests performed worse than with a CTA. Here you have a simple CTA: “Buy now” but we added “Today” to push them to act immediately. Also, you have a “Save” word, which again communicates the discount from the headline.

9. Headline You watched the video and liked the product You find out it’s on discount. Amazing Who doesn’t like discounts? You are immediately more inclined to buy cause you don't want to miss the opportunity It's how the human mind works People want to grab a great deal
