We all would have felt ridiculous if we filmed a full television season in New Orleans without shooting on a streetcar. Mara and her team did a great job transforming the exterior and interior to the right period.
The Mardi Gras Ball was one of the last times we shot in the Quarter. We spent a lot of time there throughout the shoot: Jackson Square, Lestat’s townhouse, Charlie's stable! We were very lucky the city was so welcoming to us (Also, shoutout to Larry Waggoner & the hair dept!)
We need to take a moment to gush about our director @IAmAOstrander, who KILLED it (pun intended) coordinating & executing the Murder Night sequence that culminated in Lestat’s death. She also directed an ep of @immortal_amc’s The Mayfair Witches, set to premiere early next year.

Shooting the finale was crazy b/c we had 2 crew units going basically every day. One unit finished the NOLA part of 107 while the other shoot all of Dubai. @jacobanderson bounced back and forth constantly. Here he is giving the crew a speech after wrapping their last night shoot.
Before the first trailer was about to drop, @Jacobanderson organized a screening of it for the cast/crew, using the projector & set from the 107 theatre scenes, during their 9:30pm “lunch." On other night shoots, the crew ate "lunch" as late as 1:30am.
