Breaking down winning ads #4 In just 2 weeks after launching this video ad, it > reduced account CPA by 30% 📉 while > spending $300k monthly for more than 4 months Here's an entire breakdown of the ad and what makes it "oh so great":

1. Thumbnail As you can see, the pattern is clear > A good thumbnail raises the chances that the ad will be winning By having a thumb-stopper, you’re giving your video a chance to be seen. No matter how good the video is, if nobody stops to watch, you did a bad job.

You need to break down ads into the tiniest details to be successful Work on every part of your ad Don’t skip thumbnails In this case, the thumbnail is s a custom-made image, not from the video The target audience is older men who have less strength and energy as they age

Muscle mass decreases approximately 3–8% per decade after the age of 30 and this rate of decline is even higher after the age of 60 And we all know how big egos guys have >That's why this thumbnail is showing something they are most insecure about - their strength

2. Science-based approach There are many sources of information on the internet nowadays It’s hard to filter what is right for us and who to believe But science should be right. > It’s based on data and many studies So, what do we do? > we trust doctors and scientists

3. Graphics and renders If you skim through the video, you’ll notice that it looks similar to National Geographic. It’s full of high-quality infographics like it’s a multi-million dollar company behind this video. The purpose is the same.

To convince consumers that we know what we’re talking about. We know exactly what your problem is And we will offer you a solution soon 👀

4. Headline “Science Says: It IS Possible To Grow Stronger With Age” As you can see, we want to align our message everywhere. From the thumbnail, and ad copy to the video. You want to stay focused on one angle - one problem and one solution at the time

5. Video story As in every good ad, you want to start with the problem What’s their biggest issue? What keeps them awake at night? Get into as many details as you can Once you poke their painful area, it’s time to present a solution At least, one part of it

6. Solution The solution is not offering a product or service In this case, it’s offering education An extra layer in the funnel But we “educate” them however we want By doing that, you are building yourselves as an authority

That's probably harder than just offering a product, but once you unlock that level of awareness, the ad is waaay more scalable Why? Because there are a lot more people in that pocket of the audience compared to people that already know they need your product

7. Testimonial If Dr. David Minkoff can be a 70-years (young) active triathlete, Then what’s your excuse? He breaks all barriers. You better believe it. It's a great and unusual story and people usually like to hear those It's inspirational

8. CTA In the end, Call-to-Action is a very clear and simple message. Click on our link and we’ll educate you on how to build muscle mass from home. Home - a place where you are comfortable, no need to change the environment

The link leads to a 23-minute VSL that goes back and forth about muscle mass and protein and how to get stronger no matter what your age is. If we are the ones that educated you, even if you don't end up buying right away, when you think of buying, you'll think of us.
