Breaking down a winning ad #10 I got a lot of requests to break down a Winning ad that doesn't solve a product Here it's - an Ad that changed the trajectory of the business and allowed us to scale to over 10,000k a day Here's a scene-by-scene breakdown of this UGC mashup style

We start with a very strange hook with a girl that's spreading her legs Why does it work? > It gets the attention and stops the scroll It's something you don't see often in the ads > It sparks the curiosity We also decided to use the same frame as a thumbnail

After that, we are mostly stacking the value props and addressing the most common objections We gathered all the comments from ads and customer support and realized what are the most frequent problems girls have with this type of product...

...and then when you have a product that's addressing and solving all those problems, you what to showcase the solutions > Squatproof > High waist We had girls that were talking about exactly those things

In the middle of the video, we throw in some full-screen text to emphasize the key phrases and to amplify how satisfied the customers are with the product In terms of the editing you can see it's a mix of fast-paced, so at the same time, it's keeping the attention and allows...

...the girls to express their thoughts. We again continue with the additional value-prop One of the biggest requests was to add a pocket to the tights So we show how easy it is to put the mobile phone in the pocket Product demonstration is key with commodity products

We end the video with a split-screen made about one of the biggest objection > see through So not that you are only listening to a girl talking about it, BUT You can also see that while the girl doing the exercise, the tights are 0% see through That's a big proof

Potential changes: > Video ends without the CTA, and although the goal of the video was to be as organic as possible, we would probably change that now > At the start of the video, there's a logo frame for a fraction of a second, so now I would probably remove that

Additional notes about the ad: > copy was intentional just a testimonial to amplify the "organic" feel of a mashup video > headline was intentionally made like Listicle (although it leads to the collection page), cause we noticed Listicle headlines have way higher CTR
