why i headcanon diluc as autistic - a thread
disclaimer - i am autistic! if u disagree with my hcs or think im reaching or whtever that’s ok but just scroll !
1) sensory issues - his line about not liking the feel of alcohol in his mouth could be due to sensory issues + he’s rarely seen without gloves which could also be to help deal with textures
2) strong sense of justice - very common in autistic people to have strong morals and a strong sense of justice, which can be seen throughout dilucs voicelines and overall story
3) special interest- his bird isn’t really mentioned in his voicelines or story apart from this one line that he sounded quite excited about … but his bird is in 2 idles and featured in a lot of arts with him so i like to think birds could be a special interest for him!
4) stimming - i like to think he stims by adjusting his gloves/chains which is seen in two idles of his
5) averse to socialising - as seen in his voicelines he doesn’t appear to be very interested in conversing + his very short voicelines show he only says what he needs to
