Now running with buttery smooth 3800 fps. Still lot's of room for improvement, but I think I'll leave it at that.

@phoboslab How slow would it be if you wanted to find out how many rendered frames each second were pixel-for-pixel duplicates of the previous frame?

@HamledOnLine Not sure I understand the question, but the simulation (physics, input etc.) also runs at 3800 fps. No duplicate frames.

@phoboslab Holy moly!!! Myself and a few others have made usb adapters for the NegCon. Would be cool if there were more options added like there are in the PS1 version for adjusting the analog steering and ability to have analog gas pedal.

@phoboslab Only 3800 fps?!?!?! Nooooob /s This is seriously awesome! Good work!

@phoboslab Could you blend the frames to make temporal anti aliasing for a 144Hz or 120Hz display ?

@phoboslab 3800 frames per second.. whoa! 😮

@phoboslab omg, what

@phoboslab Hi-Octaaaaane

@phoboslab @pikuma Cool. This brings to mind the game called Hi Octane.

@phoboslab The human eye can only see 3500 fps.

@phoboslab add frame blending for a smooth motion blur

@phoboslab 3800 fps only? That's waaay to slow for today's standards, I hope you can make it run nicer so I can play it.

@phoboslab Cool, so there's room enough for VR support? ;)

@phoboslab Is this a port of (original) Wipeout or a new implementation?

@phoboslab Looks great! You got the “released” code to compile?

@phoboslab Increase FOV to increase fastlyness

@phoboslab Is this different from the wipeout phantom edition or something else entirely? Looks wonderful either way

@phoboslab Is the code for this opensource? Looks very satisfying to play

@phoboslab Amazing!

@phoboslab But the human eye can only see 30 FPS.

@phoboslab That soundtrack

@phoboslab That poor GPU is having a feaver dream about Wipeout

@phoboslab absolute king!! 🙌🙌

@phoboslab ❤️

@phoboslab Share some of those fps bruh

@phoboslab Reminds me of Hi-octane from my childhood

@phoboslab Holy crap!

@phoboslab love that game's input mechanics and soundtrack.

@phoboslab Aww man .. this won't work on my 4000hz monitor :P

@phoboslab @dosnostalgic Could you do the same thing with Rollcage?

@phoboslab Is there motion blur? I not, maybe use all these usless FPS to do motion blur on top and render to something like 240 fps.

@phoboslab What is the temperature of the water the computer is submerged in?

@phoboslab @dosnostalgic Mmmh but will it run on my ancient Geforce 2 MX, so I can combine a 160 Hz CRT and 3D shutter glasses for the ultimate experience?

@phoboslab Awesome work! What a game! And what a song! Chemical beats
