FB Attribution Settings Guide A few weeks ago FB returned the option to see totals at the bottom of the Ads Manager no matter what attribution widows are used Here's how to actually use that info to adjust your decision-making:

Here you can see the difference in ROAS on different windows 7dc1dv --> 2.55 1dc --> 1.56 When we divide those 2 numbers we get 1.63 I call that a Conversion Multiplier It tells us what's the average difference in ROAS for different attribution settings That means...

...if you are used to running ads to 7dc1dv and now want to test 1dc, you'll have to adjust your decision-making when optimizing 1dc will always have lower ROAS, so you can't optimize the same way You'll have to take into consideration that conversion multiplier In this case..

ROAS of 1.8 on 1dc would look like it's under the target when evaluated on its own But if you multiply it with CM (1.63), you get 2.94 Which is higher than your average 7dc1dv ROAS of 2.55 So instead of turning off that ad set with 1.8, it means you should scale it

Understanding your numbers is crucial for making proper optimization. Compare your results on different attribution settings and help yourself scale the ad account.

@IstvanicMarin Would you a/b test your best adset w winners to figure out if 1d or 7d is best?

@UDoggos yes, you can

@IstvanicMarin Tnx for sharing this 👊.

@IstvanicMarin You've just opened up another level. God it never ends 🤣

@damianhardacre haha I'll take that as a compliment

@IstvanicMarin 7 day more for retargeting and returning?
