We often restrict our trading to the perfect setups in the perfect market conditions. If we don't find them to be perfect, the default response is to step aside and stop trading. The logic has merit, but it is conditional and not as straightforward as claimed. Here is my

@Anuragg_CA One can know their strengths/weaknesses after enough practice and analysis only. Weekends are the best time to work on improving our game and ofcourse, reading your piece. πŸ˜€

@TheTradeScout Haha.. thanks mate 😊

@Anuragg_CA I have run out of superlatives here. I URGE every aspiring trader out there to read this at least twice. Cheers

@SakatasHomma Thank you 😊

@Anuragg_CA β™ŸοΈ This great read Remind me one of my RULE : β€’ Rules & system are important in stock marketπŸ¦…πŸ¦…πŸ¦…πŸ¦… BUT Fair understanding when to follow and when to break is key πŸ”‘ for higher success’’

@DeafFrogs πŸ‘

@Anuragg_CA I continuously traded in the choppy markets of dec to march. And even now do it. For learning. And i have learnt a lot.I got the trade in iob with 30 pc size. Though sold a bit late. The problem is not to make it a compulsive habit-eg charles harris and step aside when..contd

@drabhineshv Yes, and added in the caveat. No activity is worth it even if there is the slightest risk of ruin.

@Anuragg_CA Just wow..!!! What an insightful & thought-provoking counter-pointers. Its a valuable reminder that the real world rarely aligns perfectly with textbook setups. UR experience & nuanced approach to trading shine through in UR words. Thank U for sharing this wisdom. πŸ‘πŸ€πŸ‘

@Chart_whispers Thank you Karan 😊

@Anuragg_CA Nice read.. one more 'Think beyond' Sunday morning

@iAmitGawade Thank you 😊

@Anuragg_CA Superb one, you should start a weekly newsletter

@Portfolio_Buddy Thanks Mate 😁

@Anuragg_CA Very insightful. I have a doubt. I have been trading cash since a while. How can I improve situational awareness. How to quantify that market is choppy now and better to take quick profit and when we can expect a home run. I have a breadth sheet. Still not clear

@therakeshh Your last few trade feedbacks are a good indicator, and over time you will develop the feel for it. I will elaborate on it in some future posts. In the meantime, stockbee and even @swing_ka_sultan have done good work on this which helped me, which you can refer to.

@Anuragg_CA Excellent Read .....Could not have Agreed More to this....

@Manish10979278 Thank You 😊

@Anuragg_CA Outstanding post...Very well articulated..." One of the problems you face being ANURAGG is that you are always compared with ANURAGG"..

@shahalok01 Thanks Alok 😊

@Anuragg_CA Isn't there a big element hindsight bias involved here? A big caveat here is that we didn't see much fall after 12th sept(u hv mentioned it in post but still). Would u hv written this post even if we would have seen the follow through downward?

@InvestorTrader Yes. The example was not the crux idea of the post. Your bias is not constant, and will be continuously self- correcting. This was not a counter trend example, but playing a sharper pullback in a lower time frame within a strong bull market. The bias of a bull market hadn't

@Anuragg_CA I hope to see a book written by you soon. I need to read it multiple times to understand as it is thought provoking which I haven't read before anywhere else before. Are you a CA or writer by profession?

@omkhatavkar Thanks omkar. Can't CA's be writers ? 😊 But my writings till now have only been professional in nature, not in public. Also will stick to activities which improve my trading. Writing a book won't do it, plus they don't earn much too

@Anuragg_CA FantasticπŸ‘Œ

@VikramShah_10 Thank you 😊

@Anuragg_CA On an average how many trades do you take in a month?

@traderblink Can it ever be a fixed number or even a basis for a benchmark?

@Anuragg_CA thanks anurag sir for sharing

@Anuragg_CA Though provoking. Will read it twice tomorrow before commenting.

@Anuragg_CA Hey Anurag, I’m out of words to praise this article. Thank you. πŸ‘πŸΌ

@Anuragg_CA Metaphor to leg day 🀣🀣🀣 so very much true !! πŸ‘

@Anuragg_CA Fantastic.

@Anuragg_CA Great Post Sir. 100% agree with this statement, but one Q'n. "Pro traders seamlessly fluctuate between swing trades, scalps, and reversals depending on the market and setups"., But what mark followed in USIC 2021, is not contratactory to what they termed as "style drift" ? Thks.
