Before I onboard any client, I do an audit of their ad account to assess if I can even help I did 50+ FB ad account audits this year. Here’s the exact 6-step template I'm using every time I analyze: -numbers -structure -optimization -testing and scaling frameworks -funnels -ads

To do the audit I need: > View-level access to the FB ad account and 3rd party tracker > Target ROAS to evaluate the current decision-making process I share our BM ID, and the client add us as a partner If it's an agency account, they add me as an employee to their BM

Initially, I analyze the numbers in different periods This helps me paint the picture of what happened in the past few months > If CPM or CTR increased > or Videos stopped being as interesting as before > or CR and AOV improved If there's 3rd party tracked I compare it to FB

After that, I dive into the ad account structure > How many campaigns are there > What's the optimization goal > What audiences & placement are used > Are there any exclusions used > Is it LC or BC/CC and how's that set up > Is ASC used and what's a cap for buyers set

After getting a general understanding of the setup, I check the optimization > How frequently is the budget increased if the results are good > Is there optimization on the ad level (Are bad ads turned off) > Is the budget tied to the performance

Next, I check the testing frameworks > Is there a dedicated testing campaign > Are there multiple variations per video > Is it 1 or multiple ads per ad set > How many assets are in DCO > Is there any iteration of winners done > What's actually being tested

I then analyze the ads > How are Thumb-stop and Hold rates compared to the average > How good is the editing of the ads > Is there a specific hook per video > How's the ad copy formatted > What concepts & style are winners > Are post ID and asset customization used

An additional thing I do is funnel analysis. I check what's the landing page > PDP or advertorial or dedicated sales page I also compare the drops between each stage of the funnel in a custom-made calculator which immediately helps me identify the gaps

As a Bonus, I provide an Early indicator calculator, which is sometimes useful for a new creative test evaluation It tells us what's the average % of people that end up buying after adding to the cart or initiating checkout This gives us targets per early indicator metrics

At the end, you get a recap of Mistakes and opportunities and on top of all that, it's not that I just hand you do document We jump on a call, and I walk you through the document, provide additional context for all my findings + You get to ask all additional questions you have

If you are interested in a custom-made ad account audit personalized on your numbers and ads, send me a DM. This will unlock additional opportunities for scaling your ad account.

@IstvanicMarin Hey @IstvanicMarin , how are you finding out "ROAS wanted "for a particular brand ? can you share the formula for that
