#HazbinHotel #HazbinHotelLilith #HazbinHotelrosie I'm drained and half asleep but also tired of sounding unhinged while trying to explain to people why I think Rosie is Lilith. So I'm just gonna collect my thoughts in one very sloppy 🧵

Rosie is such an unlikely character to be introduced in the penultimate episode of a season. Yes, we see her with Alastor -- which its own bulletpoint in my theory given that he shows up in the pilot moments after Charlie calls her mother for help.

And, of course, a popular theory is that Alastor is on Lilith's leash. He says some out of pocket shit around Rosie, but I don't think that's a point against him being on her leash. It seems on brand.

Though, I could also see him being beholden to someone else and just working WITH Lilith. I'm still leaning towards Lilith/Rosie ordering him to go keep an eye on Charlie.

ANYWAY Alastor takes Charlie to properly meet Rosie so she can provide them with the resources they need to beat the angels. Probably worth noting what she's saying about her first husband as they walk through the door.

Shortly after the two meet, Rosie has a very sweet heart-to-heart with Charlie wherein they talk about her girlfriend and the secrets she kept.

Tall, curvy, blonde woman having the sweetest talk with Charlie about the people who love you keeping secrets? I think Lilith had to leave, and I think it happened when Charlie was relatively young. Before even her 7 year disappearance, maybe.

Charlie being so alienated from her father makes 0 sense to me. He, clearly, adores her. He's beside himself when she calls him/wants to see him. Charlie talks like he wanted nothing to do with her, but we know that couldn't be further from the truth.

Lucifer is reluctant to part with Charlie as she's taken away in the arms of a faceless woman who is, ostensibly, Lilith. Except, we've seen Lilith's face. Sure, it could be blurred here to keep the focus on father and daughter, but it stands out too much for that, imo.

I can't make Charlie's estranged relationship with her father make sense unless parental alienation was involved. i.e. "Lilith" made it seem as if neither wanted to reach out to the other.

I have a hard time believing Lilith would do something like this. It would be strange to make a woman so villianized by mythology your overarching big bad. I also don't think she would leave Hell for Heaven to go sit on a beach.

Lilith was girlbossing it up in Hell. She was thriving. Charlie has a charitable view of people, but I don't think that accounts for how inspiring the denizens of Hell seemingly found her mother.

I don't know why it happened, but I definitely think the Lilith that alienated Charlie from her father and was chilling on a beach in Heaven was Eve.

To what end did she do all of this? idk. But between the secretive, "Shh" of the trading card and her absence from the series, I'm sold that it's her. I think Eve is going to be the show's final boss battle before we reach the Root of all Evil.

That said, I expect her to be a sympathetic villain. Just like I don't think the show would make Lilith evil, I don't think we're going to see Eve as someone wholly irredeemable either.

I'm relatively new here and not really up on any Root of all Evil/Roo lore outside of seeing people mention it's... ya know... sentient and seems like the likely, ultimate Big Bad.

There are probably a bunch of typos I've missed and some points I forgot to add, but this'll have to do for now. I am so drained. Have I said that yet? Because, holy shit, ending a long day by watching that finale has me DRAINED.

Oh, right, Lucifer, apparently, knowingly went down on Eve at some point. I don't know where to plug that in to all of this, but it feels like it goes in here somewhere.
