@JayantBhandari5 Kerala had a tax -the “mulakaram breast tax”-whereby women from the lower castes were forbidden to cover their breasts in public. It was only after a low caste woman Nangeli, in what is now Chertala in latter day Travancore, decided to cut off her breasts, that tax was abolished.
