I don't know what the controversy is about but before the arrival of the British there was nothing like blouse and petticoat in India, both of which are English words. A quarter of women in my city walked topless a mere 30 years back. #pfrom=home-ndtv_topscroll class="text-blue-500 hover:underline" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">https://www.ndtv.com/india-new...

@JayantBhandari5 Kerala had a tax -the “mulakaram breast tax”-whereby women from the lower castes were forbidden to cover their breasts in public. It was only after a low caste woman Nangeli, in what is now Chertala in latter day Travancore, decided to cut off her breasts, that tax was abolished.

@JayantBhandari5 Victorian morality was influenced by Britishers only. Indians chose to cling on to that ignoring their own cultural openness.

@JayantBhandari5 They still do in Bali

@JayantBhandari5 What this has to do with the news item shared by u if ur motha used to walk topless 30 years s back

@JayantBhandari5 I have seen your mother topless and grandmother Naked.

@JayantBhandari5 Why puja is organized at a government college in the first place?

@JayantBhandari5 Saying nudity is part of Indian culture is like saying wokeness and degeneracy are part of Western culture. It's only the lowest classes and tribal people of India who used to roam around naked. They were never considered part of mainstream Indian society.

@JayantBhandari5 Yess it's true

@JayantBhandari5 Stop lying

@JayantBhandari5 Including perhaps some members of your family?

@JayantBhandari5 I remember seeing your mom & grandma walking topless on streets way back when you were still a inactivated sperm . !D!0T

@JayantBhandari5 Is that true britishers introduced blouse strange but thanks to remind me...and also look at #khajrahotemple where erotic sculptures are implanted
