Keep getting asked about in the new Satoshi Nakamoto lore that dropped. For the first time ever emails have been released between Adam back and Satoshi. Standard practice is to include email headers for proof, but all that’s included is a sworn legal statement.
In my video I doubted the authenticity / existence of these emails. This inevitably led to discussion in 2020 on this subject shortly after Here’s a very interesting conversation regarding why Adam was refusing to release these initially
So basically Adam didn’t want to release these emails incase there was a mistake in the early opsec Potentially in the form of “headers” Later he enters the emails (without headers?) as evidence in an ongoing legal battle regarding the intellectual property of the btc paper.
Regardless of authenticity it’s still a possibility that Adam had enough foresight to email himself to create distance from the original post he made in 1998 Additionally I think it’s also interesting that the emails contradict statements back has given in the past…
Adam claimed in a previous interview satoshi sent him software pre-release but he never opened it. The emails show he was solely sent a dl to an early draft of the paper pre-release Where he is emailed a final time on the day after the official release with dl.
