Some women achieve this feeling of safety via financial security. It’s probably the “most popular” method. But there are plenty of other methods. Another popular one is feeling physically safe, so they look for big jacked dudes that will protect them from physical threat.

A more strange one that seems to confuse most men is the “broke dude who lives in a van”. Why would a woman get the hots for this? Because, due to his mindset, HE feels safe despite being in what appears to her like perpetual danger. And she WISHES she could feel that way.

Women are perpetually seeking safety. But they also find this exhausting. Just being around a man who is “care free” and believes “everything will work out” rubs off on the woman, and makes her feel safe.

Further, danger is exhilarating as long as it is controlled. And women like to map all the risks. It’s why women watch true crime shows. In the same way that men like to play video games. They SIMULATE danger and thus are both fun, “educational”, yet harmless.

Of course, women mostly only have flings with the “broke dude who lives in a van”. In the same way that men mostly only drive their car at 120 mph occasionally. They are fun in short spurts but have significant cost long term.

Women select men based on ALL the dimensions of “makes me feel safe”. morals, physical strength, financial security, mindset, affection for them, communication, social status, and probably a few more.

Her personality determines which dimensions she prioritizes more. Her neuroticism determines how many total “points” he needs to have for her to feel safe. And her hotness determines what tier of points she can realistically attract.

Your job as a man, assuming you want a wife/family, is to increase your points in all the dimensions as much as possible. Some will be easy for you and others hard. you should optimize your strengths, mitigate your weaknesses, and then find women who prioritze your strengths.

Women need to feel safe. Men need to feel powerful.

Male depression is almost universally caused by having a safety and comfort oriented (feminine) mindset. Male depression can be almost entirely cured by giving them a power and competence oriented (masculine) mindset.

This is why all the leftist men are depressed btw. Leftism is fundamentally female coded. It’s seeking comfort and safety. “uwu daddy government please protect me from poorness and mean bad people” Men can only be happy when they are right wing.

Leftists women are depressed bc they replace a man with the state. But the state cannot ever provide what she truly needs—the feel safe. Which is why the only thing that can cure female depression is to become the cherished property of a high value man she respects.
