Alright, I've been quiet about this long enough but I think I have to finally talk about the elephant in the Touhou fandom, cookie☆ and some info that should be known publicly known Also do not harass anyone mention in this thread or people who post cookie☆ without knowing 🧵
So let's begin on what cookie☆ is. Basically cookie☆ is a Touhou "fan" (and yes I put the quotation marks for a reason) collab started by one Rio Hazuna. At the time it released it was known for being low budget and poorly made
That what was all that known about it at the time as well this video was heavily criticized for poor script, art, and voice acting which eventually caught the attention of fans of a gay porn known as A Midsummer Night's Lewd Dream which cause them to make Mads of cookie☆
The creator, Rio Hazuna didn't take kindly to the Inmu fans and took down the mads which in terms angered Inmu fans and cause them to do a deep dive into Rio Hazuna.
They found out that Rio Hazuna was a middle age man who held his age from participants until he met with them in person and preformed sexual acts with him with many of the girls being underage
As well it was discovered that the reason Rio created cookie☆ was to have sex with underaged girl. The reason for the Touhou theme may have also been because most of the characters were female, and it was easy to attract women without feeling out of place
Eventually Rio Hazuna was forced to release a apology (A poor one at that) where he admitted to the sexual harassment and was forced to retire completely from the internet. However this wouldn't mark the end of cookie☆ as people would commonly spread it without knowing
And the problem lies with one Nyn. You may commonly see this under posts with Nazrin and you probably even mistook this for Nazrin yourself but that's the thing, this is not Nazrin.
You see Nyn or NYN Aneki is a voice actress playing both Nazrin in Reimu and Marisa's Chocolate Heart. Now what is Reimu and Marisa's Chocolate Heart, it's a fan continuation of cookie☆ which leans heavily into the gay porn aspect. Nyn is also why people mistake Nazrin for a rat
Seeing Nyn has become too common with any Nazrin post so much that people easily just mistake her for Nazrin not knowing about Nyn nor cookie☆ history and it's sickening and it is why I made this tread in the first place.
If you wanna know if it's either Nyn or Nazrin look closing at the ears. If it's grey ears inside it's Nazrin, if it's pink inside it is Nyn
