If your followers aren’t turning into paying customers… And you’re stuck in the grind of creating content… You’re missing the key to unlocking your cash flow. Leave a bookmark, you will need to get back to this 🧵.
I want you to think about everything you’re told about the social media game. It’s not hard to do so… That’s what all your TL is about on all social media platforms. This is the dominant narrative: - We live in the attention economy. - Whoever commands attention, gets the reward. You learned about this. You studied this. And because you’re smart (obvious since you read my stuff) - you applied it to the T. You post daily. You spend hours commenting under big accounts. You even made a couple of friends. Sometimes your follower count grows and you’re happy about it. Sometimes the gods of the algorithm frustrate you when they reduce reach. Overall it’s ups and downs. But there’s still something going wrong with sales.
Everyone in the comments tells you how great you are yet very few actually buy. Let me tell you what none of your followers dares to do: They do NOT trust you. They do NOT think you can help them. They might even learn something from you, but when it’s time to hire an expert…they look somewhere else. Today I’m fixing this for you.
I’m about to give you the whole structure. Everything you need to say. A complete breakdown… In details! But first, I need you to understand this:
Here’s the deal: If your audience doesn’t trust you, they won’t buy from you. Simple as that. Trust is the secret ingredient that turns followers into loyal customers. And trust is built on three pillars: conviction, competence, and authenticity. As you can see on the graph. Cashflow and Trust go hand in hand.
I’m going to lay it out straight. There are three levels you need to understand and master if you want to dominate social media and rake in the big bucks.
Level 1: The Clueless Social Media enjoyoor • Characteristics: You’re the “how-to” guy. You churn out tutorials like a machine. • Limitations: You sound like a robot. There’s no heart, no soul, no YOU in your content. •Outcome: Low trust, low cash flow. You’re stuck in the trenches, my friend. Example: Think of a faceless voice explaining how to tie a tie – boring and forgettable.
Level 2: The Average Joe of content creation. • Characteristics: You’ve leveled up... Now you’re explaining the “why” behind the “how.” You’ve got some passion, some drive. • Limitations: Still missing the authenticity. You’re better but not unforgettable. • Outcome: Moderate trust, moderate cash flow. You’re getting warmer. Example: You not only show how to tie a tie but explain why it’s important for first impressions.
Level 3: The Guide • Characteristics: You’re the complete package. Detailed how-tos, compelling why’s, and a dose of urgency and motivation. Plus, you’re real. You’re authentic. • Strengths: Unique phrases, natural speaking style, and sharing your beliefs make you relatable and memorable. • Outcome: Maximum trust, maximum cash flow. You’ve hit the jackpot... Congrats! Example: You not only teach and explain but also inspire. You’re the guy who says, “This tie will change your life,” and people believe you.
To reach Level 3 you need to nail three aspects of competence: ➤ How-To: Detailed, clear instructions. Leave no room for doubt. ➤ Why and Theory: Explain the reasons behind your advice. Make it bulletproof. ➤ Urgency and Motivation: Push your audience to act NOW. Feels too abstract? Alright, let’s give you an example…
Example: Fitness Content Level 1: Show how to do a bicep curl. Level 2: Explain why proper form is crucial for muscle growth. Level 3: Motivate your audience to prioritize fitness by sharing how it transforms lives.
Level 3 creators don’t talk, they don't write – They preach…they fucking ROAR! Here’s how:
Using Unique Verbiage: Develop your own catchphrases. Be memorable. Normal Articulation: Talk like you would to a friend. Drop the script. Sharing Personal Beliefs and Opinions: Don’t be afraid to be bold. Stand for something. Stand against something (more on this in a future email) Think of @ZssBecker, a business maven, uses catchphrases like "Money is people" and “Perfection Paralysis” It’s quirky, it’s him, and it sticks. Think of "never skip desert" by Hormozi. Think of "FIWB" by @EgoDriv . Create that common identity...but stay away from the creator's friendzone.
