A thread on Eric D July, the anarcho-capitalist libertarian commentator, dancer, rapper, comic book creator, and guy who "used to bang" who recently got a man arrested for Tweets that were "reasonably likely to harass, annoy, alarm, abuse, torment, embarrass, or offend" Eric.

Instead of being a big boy like everyone else and blocking/muting people he found annoying and then moving on, Eric got law enforcement involved. Eric will claim that the crux of the matter is trespassing but the man was never asked to leave and no trespass warning ever issued.

Eric will claim that it was entirely out of line and stalking for the person to show up in real life at all despite the videos still online of Eric telling people who trashed him online that they were too big of cowards to ever "pull up" on him and have an in person confrontation

Riley Mix rose to Eric's challenge and began making videos about how he was going to train by walking up a hill every day until he's fit enough to "pull up" and shave Eric's hairy shoulders. Begins calling himself "Young Clippa" and starts the "Clippaverse" to parody Eric.

Riley's "Clippaverse" parody tshirt was soon DMCA'd and immediately afterwards his Twitter got suspended. Riley began demanding that Eric apologize for weaponizing the DMCA against critics and parodies. Eric ignored such demands and refused to read Riley's superchats on streams.

Having obtained Eric's business and home addresses through paperwork served along with DMCA claims, Riley eventually plans to visit the Rippaverse warehouse while in Texas to continue demanding an apology as there are no gates or signage preventing approaching it from public.

Despite having advanced notice of Riley's planned visit, Eric never clearly states that Riley is not welcome at his property. Instead Eric just weirdly argues that his business in a publicly accessible business park with businesses open to the general public isn't "public."

While in Plano, Riley stops and gets a pair of giant plastic novelty scissors to pose with in front of a Ross Dress for Less and makes a post taunting Eric.

Later that night, Riley visits the warehouse itself and films a short video of him using stickers to affix $41 to Eric's warehouse's front window. Challenges Eric to "ignore these superchats" and repeats his demand that Eric or his employee apologize for flagging him.

Riley never attempted to enter the warehouse or cause any damage to it or the surrounding property. Nor did he even bring his large novelty scissors in attempt to pretend he was going to carry out his threat of shaving Eric. He simply donated $41 in a way he knew would annoy Eric

Eric immediately called the police and reported Riley for stalking and vandalism, falsely claiming that Riley had shown up at the warehouse with the large novelty scissors and that it had caused him to feel physically threatened and fear for the safety of his employees.

The next day, Riley visted the car wraps business in the same building as the Rippaverse warehouse to inquire about getting a Clippaverse car wrap done. Eric has his employees call the police again and report that Riley was harassing them by being present at a nearby business.

Despite reporting that Riley is a stalker who he feels physically threatened by, Eric begins a promo to use code "Pull Up" to get a discount on his comics and makes multiple posts accusing Riley of poor hygiene.

Eric then goes onto a livestream where he repeatedly asserts that he would've been justified in airing Riley out for committing "criminal mischief" after sundown, that he's not afraid of Riley, that nobody ever asked Riley to leave, that Riley never bypassed any secure areas, etc

Riley would eventually be arrested for the crime of Harassment via repeated electronic communication. The warrant has no flood of DM's or alt accounts attempting to bypass Eric's block button and is solely for Tweets and replies in threads, some of which didn't even tag Eric.

Riley was not arrested for stalking, trespassing, vandalism, criminal mischief, or any sort of real crime because he did not commit any of those things. His sole crime was breaking Texas' unconstitutional law that criminalizes annoying internet posts. https://www.youtube.com/watch?...

This has been the story of how "anarcho-capitalist" "libertarian" Eric D July abused the legal system to get a man arrested for posting tweets that Eric was too insecure to just block and move on from. #Rippaverse #Isom #Libertarian https://www.youtube.com/watch?...

If you'd like to help Riley fund his legal defense against this violation of constitutionally protected freedoms, please donate to or share his GoFundMe at http://freeriley.fund

@mwiging10 Worth mentioning that he claims that the police were only contacted to protect his employees, but Riley is being charged with harassing Eric July specifically

@Beachook Ah, yes, agreed. Despite claims that it was all about protecting his employees from threats that were never made against them, Eric July is the only victim listed on the police report and the only person mentioned as reporting victimization to the police.

@mwiging10 LMAO, everything in this thread is either false, disingenuous or just straight up lying. For starters, the DMCA was justified as Riley was selling merch with the unmodified rippaverse logo on it. MOST of the other detractors modified the logo to sell their parody merch.

@nonbionary1 Readers can decide whether or not an anarchist owner of a multi million dollar company was justified in using the state apparatus to take down Riley's clear parody that had sold 1 unit... To Riley.

@mwiging10 So he had someone arrested for offending and embarrassing him. How very SJW of Eric..

@mwiging10 Do we know which tweets and other electronic communications were cited in the report? Have those been revealed yet?

@robert_j_romano The set of 4 are the only tweets in the warrant. The two on top were the only 2 cited that were posted on September 26 which is the date of the alleged harassment.

@mwiging10 This law was meant to protect women against abusive ex partners. In Erics own words "Erik is a bitch ass N word"
