Minimisers: "If Covid dysregulated the immune system, why aren't we seeing an increase in opportunistic infections, eh?!" The opportunistic infections:

The UKHSA have the gall to say that some of these outbreaks only seem large due to improved testing, when testing rates for them actually *decreased*. Don't listen to their spin. Look at the big picture. And all the little pictures.

While we're here, there's no immunity debt to crypto parvum or hominis. You know what there is though? There's immunity damage that allows them in.

Also worth noting: Some of these trends were in operation before Covid, but have increased further since.

And yes, some of these infections are in perfect sync with Covid waves, and some... follow in perfect sync *afterwards*.

Here they are with labels highlighting the years for which there is data available: https://x.com/vnaylon/status/1...

And here's what they look like with the same timescales on every graph.

And here's an extra version with Strep A notifications, Measles, and Hep D:

@1goodtern Help me out a sec, aren't Carbapenem drugs relatively new and a last resort against resistant bugs? What do they use to treat in such cases because this sounds really bad.

@Furq266400 Exactly. šŸ”„

@1goodtern Looks really intriguing until I notice each of these graphs has a different start date. Makes me wonder how I can know the data isn’t cherry-picked to make them directionally match.

@vnaylon That's all the data available for each of them from those sources. Each graph starts at the beginning of the data available. The sources are at the bottom of the thread.

@1goodtern Your thread is very popular today! #TopUnroll https://threadreaderapp.com/th... šŸ™šŸ¼@MarcusFitzsimon for šŸ„‡unroll

@1goodtern Yesterday @CBCNews reported on childhood "walking #pneumonia" rates (up 10x pre-COVID in parts of CANADA) and wouldn't you know "some experts believe the cause is [immunity debt]" was the ONLY reason suggested. 😠

@1goodtern this is exactly what we feared would happen this is why we continue to wear masks will this finally wake the masses up to what is happening ?!?! we need massive funding for the rapid development of preventions and treatments for COVID as soon as possible !!!!

@1goodtern Do the government look at their own data ? It would seem not - they are still trying to work out why long term sick has risen by 800,000 to 2.8m and healthcare absence is constantly rising to record levels. It’s obviously a mystery to them.

@1goodtern "Dats du to vac-zee-nay-shuuuns!!!!" -elonfan_1488

@1goodtern They will claim this is caused by the covid vaccine.

@1goodtern Question: Do we see this strong of effect with AIDS affected countries? If not, why is Covid worse?

@1goodtern thanks Tern @threadreaderapp unroll please

@1goodtern šŸ¦— from the minimizers

@1goodtern Please show us some trends….. What could be causing this? Is it the mass hysteria? Mass psychosomatic issues? People need to stop thinking themselves ill! #sarcasm

@1goodtern LOL the room is still reverberating after the mic hit the floor on that one.

@1goodtern If multiple boosters induced IgG4 immuno tolerant class switch why aren't we seeing an increase in opportunistic infections?
