Now coming back to dola, citing Abul Fazl PN oak rights Akbar had always bad eyes on the daughters and wives of his Nobles , he forced the virgins and Wives of his nobles to spend some time in his Harem, some Noble women spend as long as 1 month. During the treaty with
Jhala Rajputs, one of the conditions by Jhalas was they should be exempted from the insulting practice of dola , Sending their wives and daughters in Akbar's Harem.
PN oak accuses Bhagwant das and Man Singh for working as agent in forcefull kidnappings of Rajput women and placing them in mughal Harem. Later to hide shame of these kidnappings were given the name of marriages.
Akbar also Started Navroz in which he invited Rajput women to take part and PN oak writes he dishonoured Rajputs there.
According to Rajput Bardic stories, The festival of Navroz was stopped by Akbar due to brave Rajput queen who resisted Lustful Akbar by threatening him to kill if he didn't stopped Raping . She said No means No.
The tale of dishounaring Rajput women and how Kiran devi the Brave wife of Rathod Prathviraj is even mentioned by Colonel James todd. It was Rajputani that stood before Akbar with her Iron chest what Normal Rajput never able to do.
But Kacchawahs were without Shame and had inferiority complex they called Rajput women of their house as slave girls of Mughals and men as servants.
PN oak in his other book mentions that Akbar had full control over the women of the Household of his defeated foes. He can take them as wants.
This was further verified how after defeat of Durgavati, Akbar forced Rajput women from her Kingdom into his Harem.
The practice/Custom of Sending Virgin to mughal Harem as a sign of Submission should be stopped it was one of the main points of treaty signed between hadas and Mughals.
In Persian document of Maasir ul umra this got verified there are Daughters of Rathods and Kachhawahs in Taimur Harem but not the daughters of Hadas. So the conditions of treaty was same.
Contemporary Portuguese account about the royal Harem says same story as said about , it says Akbar had almost 1200 women and almost all are Rajput Women, I have posted Hindi translation along with orginal text. You can read below 👇.
Dola is a inferior form of marriage , british officials told that kidnapped or stolen were married this way to their masters.
Defeated Rajputs also used to send dola of their virgins to Harem as tribute too as a sign of inferiority or Submission , Such women Ranked below the originally married wives of Emperor and were almost considered Concubines
Bundi Court poet also mentions about this dola practice in his work "Ram Ranjat" citing condition of treaty between Akbar and Hada Chiefs.
Colonel James todd wrote about these treaty conditions after confirming bundi state when he visited Rajasthan and all his history was written by consulting Royal bards and Charans so considering that he imagined all these by himself is out of question.
British officials also noticed weird practice of Zamindars and Rajahs, their habit of sending virgin daughter to English officer (Bada Sahib) in the name of Bandobusst ( बंदोबस्त / Settlement ) , it was something new to them.
Bards of Rajputana also talk about established custom of Dola lutna ( First night rights) of Rajput brides.
This exploitation of poor Rajputs by disrespectful custom of dola was also among Rajputs. Rich Rajputs married Poor Rajput women in dola form and treated them as maiden. It was recorded among high class Banaphar Rajputs who treated their poorer counterparts disrespectfully .

Andre wink also talk about droid de Seigneur in Mughal Empire and how Mughal Emperors used to levy this practice on their nobles.
Many authors talk about taking of any Rajput women as mughal emperor pleases into his Harem.
Rajputs sold their wives, daughters and other women folk into muslim Harem for the sake of power.
