People want to use Archaeology to Trace their ancestors, or the ancestors of others. They want to understand the origins and migrations of peoples, but Neoliberal Academia disavows this approach, thus making the field worthless and uninteresting to would-be enthusiasts.
Most papers do not ever even mention any Ethnic Affiliations, and only with extreme grinding slowness do new papers about Origins of ethnolingusitic groups come out, very frequently missing the mark completely or giving unsatisfactory answers. It is up to us to figure it out.
Of course, bad actors and Laymen that think they are experts have also caused issues. People like BAP have widely caused perpetration of completely false and annoying misconceptions inside of the Anthrosphere, Something i call "Pop-Culture Indo-Europeanism"
@VVeltkrieger And I bought "History and Geography of human genes" Cavalli Sforza and read it, informed myself about the PCR Gene Tests they use to Analyse real old Bones. Now I am much more disappointed of Archeology and Science. Now I watch everything myself and think about it .
