The following photos present, as Armand would say, “a human perspective of time…” specifically the time we shot episode 202. Buckle up as we make our way through “Paris” and meet the devious and delectable figures of the Theatre des Vampires (who will be more prominently

Did anyone recognize the statue that Claudia and Louis are on in the opening shot of 202? It is the Renommee Des Arts, which sits atop the Pont Alexandre III on the Seine in Paris. Our incredible team recreated it on our sound stage. Our VFX team was led by @GkellyBris and Ted

Real Rashid, as he is now referred to, is played by the incredible @BallyGill_. Bally is an amazingly talented stage actor (Rolin is “partial” to theater people if that’s not already apparent), who has worked extensively with @TheRSC. He even won the Ian Charleson Award, which

Roxane Duran’s first visit to set! @RoxaneDR is an accomplished actress who spent 2 seasons playing Adriana Clios on the Sky Atlantic show @TheShowRiviera, which was, funny enough, created by Neil Jordan, director of the 1994 film version of Interview with the Vampire.

Most of the park scenes, like the fountain scene where Louis and Armand first meet, were filmed in Petrin Park. https://prague.eu/en/objevujte...

Correction: These scenes (except for the Armand photo, which was taken the day before in Petrin Park) were actually filmed in Průhonice Park. Petrin Park was used for the park scenes in 204.

It’s important for the crew to keep themselves entertained between shots on long, cold nights...

HQ BTS Theatre Des Vampires Shots Part 2 (Shot @HorricksLarry). Showrunner Rolin Jones had Ben Daniels, whom he had worked with on @TheExorcist_TV, in mind for this role during the entire S2 writing process. We were elated that it worked out for him to be our Santiago.

We were so thrilled to welcome Levan Akin, who directed 105 and 106 for us last season, back for episodes 202, 203, 204, and 208. Levan is a gem and a diehard Vampire Chronicles fan/purist. His latest film, Crossing, is available to rent or buy on Fandango and to stream on Mubi.

That's all we've got till the New Year! More BTS threads to come... (including some Dreamstat). Happy Holidays, everyone!

Rehearsal, even for a scene with nothing but walking and talking, is important so the actors and crew can figure out the blocking and camera placement without wasting takes.

From a Průhonice Park reshoot! Reshoots are needed for various reasons, including poor sound quality, lack of focus or continuity.
