Taehyung's mind immediately flashed to Jungkook's words. "Does… does that mean he was serious? When he said they'd come in two days?" Daehyun rubbed his forehead, shaking his head as if trying to make sense of it. "I thought he was bluffing. I didn't think that kid—"

"Daehyun," Hana cut him off, her voice edged with frustration. "This isn't the time to analyze his words. They're waiting." "Yes, Hana, I know." Daehyun glanced over at Taehyung, who was still looking uneasy. His hand settled on his son's shoulder,

giving him a reassuring squeeze. "Don't worry, alright?" Taehyung nodded, feeling a bit better, but still little tense. Daehyun gave him a final look before heading toward the living room. Taehyung followed close behind, with Hana right beside him.

As they stepped in, Taehyung's eyes went to the people on the couch. Two Alpha sat there, both with sharp features and dark brown eyes that instantly reminded him of Jungkook. Sitting next to them was a woman who gave off this calm, graceful vibe—and Taehyung instantly

introducing him as well. "And this is my father." The older Jeon gave a quiet, respectful nod to everyone in the room. He didn't say anything, but there was an authority in his silence. Daehyun, sensing the change in the room, quickly introduced Hana.

But before he could introduce Taehyung, Somi spoke up, looking at Taehyung with a gentle smile. "You must be Taehyung," she said warmly. "You're truly beautiful." Taehyung blinked, a little caught off guard by her compliment and the fact that she knew who he was.

His cheeks flushed, and he shyly looked down. "Uh, yeah, nice to meet you, ma'am, and… thank you," he stammered. Somi’s smile deepened, her eyes twinkling with warmth before she turned back to her husband. Hana, sensing the slight shift in the mood, excused herself quietly,

heading toward the kitchen. With her departure, Taehyung found himself standing just behind his father as Daehyun settled into a seat across from the Jeon family. Han cleared his throat, drawing everyone's attention back to him. "I know this isn't ideal," he said, his voice
