HOW to prevent OverEating? ﹉﹉﹉﹉୨♡୧﹉﹉﹉﹉ rt + ♡ (and you'll lose 10 kg) ╰◟◞ ◟◞ ◟◞╯ Control your appetite, avoid overeating and snacking, and stick to your diet! (PS: don't forget to bookmark for later♡) a 🧵for #edtwt

˚。⋆#1: Cleaning up the taste of food in your mouth⋆⭒˚ Sometimes, the urge to take "one more bite" comes from the taste of food left in the mouth. To avoid this, drinking water after eating helps clean up the taste.

You need to drink (even a LOT if necessary) until the taste disappears! If that's not enough? BRUSH YOUR TEETH! (special technique lol)

˚。⋆#2: Put the food away⋆⭒˚ If you don't want to finish your meal but can't stop eating; THROW IT AWAY WITHOUT QUESTION! (try to avoid it). If you're the kind of person who feels guilty about throwing away food, wrap it up and put it away(it's better than throwing away lol)

Put food in hard-to-reach places or avoid buying the high-calorie foods that tempt you. If you don't have junk food in your cupboards, you won't be tempted to eat it.

˚。⋆#3: Find something to distract you!⋆⭒˚ A study published by researchers at Harvard Medical School has shown that BOREDOM is an important predictor of emotional eating. People often eat more when they're bored, which contributes to increased calorie intake and weight gain

Distract yourself from thinking about the food! Personally, I watch YouTube or read mangas. I also watch thinspo to keep me motivated. But you can also go on walks, draw, or do homework. Just BE distracted!

˚。⋆#4: Using visualization⋆⭒˚ OK, this may sound weird, but it works for me. Sometimes I tell myself that I don't like food, that I don't want it or that I'm full (even though in reality I want to stuff my face).

By using visualization, you can change your perception. Visualize yourself with a full belly and no desire to eat. This helps your brain understand that your belly is full.

˚。⋆#5: Drink a lot of water⋆⭒˚ It may sound trivial, but it's one of the most essential tips: DRINK WATER! Drinking water not only increases your metabolism, but also reduces feelings of hunger.

ꨄ Fill the stomach: Water fills the stomach, making you feel full and reducing hunger. ꨄ Hydration: The body can confuse thirst with hunger. By staying well hydrated, you avoid eating when your body simply needs fluids.

ꨄ Appetite regulation: Drinking a glass of water before a meal can help you eat less, as you'll feel full faster. ꨄ Improved digestion: Good hydration enables the digestive system to function optimally, thus influencing the feeling of hunger.

ꨄ Effect on hormones: Drinking water can influence levels of certain hormones linked to hunger and satiety, such as ghrelin, often referred to as the "hunger hormone." (In addition, chewing sugar-free chewing gum can be very helpful in controlling snacking cravings.)
