it has been a very common issue in this community that a very specific group of people here dont really treat eachother with respect anymore, specially regarding big figures on it, they take things for granted and i seriously would like to talk abt it
i think i am in a fair stance to talk about this as ive made one of the biggest projects on this community, ive seen a lot of people get overly hated and treated like shit for no real reason,they dont see others as people anymore and just assume theyre a company with no feelings
a lot of people on this community are so self-entitled with whats essentially shit we do for fun with no income whatosever, they have REALLY high standards on stuff and complain about the smallest of things just for the sake of being either nitpicky or straight up annoying
"grow a thicker skin" "just ignore the negavite comments" are really stupid shit to say, sure it might not be the mayority of people but that still hurts you in one way or another, they dont see things from our perspective and just assume based on whats going on in the outside
people use this shit to hop on hate bandwagons just for the sake of it (trust me i would know) i have recieved death threats solely because i own marios madness,a lot of my friends have been harassed for the stupidest shit imaginable and sometimes its just not fun to do fnf stuff
ive been fucked over multiple times and these people defend themselves with the arguing of "oh you just cant take critisism" like😭 at one point you have to undestand and separate between personal opinion and straight up being a dick cuz its very common to see this on my tl
of course i am not generalizing, that would be a stupid thing to do,i am very grateful for what the good side of this community has done for me and my friends and i cant thank them enough, but at the same time i feel this is smth i should adress as its becoming very prominent now
@MarcoJurez19 you said it perfectly. it’s just because they don’t understand the work that goes into the stuff we produce. the lord x art from the fake Legacy build got res so much hate and it baffles me cause res did it for free it wasn’t a triple A game studio it was 1 person
