๐—–๐—ต๐—ฎ๐˜€๐˜๐—ถ๐˜๐˜† Sacrifice: leaving your phone in another room after 8pm Growth: 3 Hail Marys when you struggle to keep custody of your eyes / thoughts

๐—›๐˜‚๐—บ๐—ถ๐—น๐—ถ๐˜๐˜† once a week call or text someone you wronged & apologize. Even for slight offenses offer a compliment or praise to a quality you admire in a person 1-2x a week

๐—ฆ๐—ฒ๐—น๐—ณ๐—น๐—ฒ๐˜€๐˜€๐—ป๐—ฒ๐˜€๐˜€ Spending less time in leisure, dedicating it to something like prayer, volunteering, etc One tip Iโ€™ve heard is set aside $20 a week (or less, or more) and give it to someone in need. No strings attached

๐—™๐—ผ๐—ฟ๐˜๐—ถ๐˜๐˜‚๐—ฑ๐—ฒ intentionally make certain tasks more difficult as a penitential practice (like a pebble in your shoe, or fasting for lunch on workdays) Do not complain while doing the tasks above. Or speak only good about work you usually hate

๐—ฃ๐—ฟ๐˜‚๐—ฑ๐—ฒ๐—ป๐—ฐ๐—ฒ Take a few seconds before acting on important decisions or before responding to someone Sincerely consider what others say in conversation. Maybe ask more questions, or learn about their point of view more

๐—ง๐—ฒ๐—บ๐—ฝ๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ฐ๐—ฒ Eat healthier or less tasty food &/or intentionally reduce leisure time Finish meals more slowly donโ€™t indulge when you have something good to eat, or fun to do (moderate it)

๐— ๐—ผ๐—ฑ๐—ฒ๐˜€๐˜๐˜† Donโ€™t wear decorum that serves no practical use (a watch for style, nice jackets, revealing clothing, etc). Throughout the day, be โ€˜smallerโ€™ - donโ€™t show off, or act to draw attention Donโ€™t curse, act/speak in a kind and pure manner only

๐—™๐—ฎ๐—ถ๐˜๐—ต Donโ€™t listen to secular music otw to work, & remove secular media that could damage faith Read documents from the councils or papal encyclicals, consume Catholic media, read the works of the saints

๐—›๐—ผ๐—ฝ๐—ฒ Reflect on causes of worry in your life (the news *cough cough*) & cut them out, if not totally, then as much as possible Focus on a teaching you feel shaky about, & dedicate time each day to learn more about it

๐——๐—ถ๐—น๐—ถ๐—ด๐—ฒ๐—ป๐—ฐ๐—ฒ Limit time spent on things you go to when you procrastinate or avoid important work to a specific time limit Also set a time limit for things you often avoid doing, not necessarily to complete it, but to do a little more than usual

๐—ข๐—ฏ๐—ฒ๐—ฑ๐—ถ๐—ฒ๐—ป๐—ฐ๐—ฒ Prioritize achievement for your superior(s) before your own in all cases When your boss, parent, priest, etc (especially one you struggle to obey) requests something from you, assuming itโ€™s ethical, always respond respectfully & in acceptance
