Taehyung's lips trembled as Jungkook's hand stayed on his neck, the alpha's sharp words echoing in his mind. The mere thought of his family being hurt—of losing them because of him—sent a chill through his entire body. It was too much to bear.

"Please…" Taehyung’s voice was barely above a whisper, choked with desperation and fear. "Don't hurt them. I—" His breath caught, his chest heaving as tears pricked his eyes. "I can't live without them." For the briefest moment, something unrecognizable flickered in

Jungkook's gaze. Was it doubt? Regret? Compassion? It was gone before Taehyung could even be sure it had been there. The alpha's grip on his neck tightened slightly—not enough to hurt, but enough to remind him who was in control. "I won't touch them," Jungkook said softly,

his tone deceptively calm, even tender. Then, his lips curved into a devilish smile that sent a shiver down Taehyung's spine. "As long as you agree to marry me. That's the deal, omega. Marry me, and your family will be safe." Taehyung's red, tear-filled eyes stared at the alpha,

trembling with fear. He felt trapped, suffocated, like the walls around him were closing in. There was no escape. This was it—his destiny. His heart sank under the weight of his choice. Jungkook's hand brushed the skin of his neck again, like he was waiting for Taehyung to

make the call. "So, what's it going to be, omega?" Jungkook asked, his voice calm. "Will you marry me?" Taehyung closed his eyes, tears slipping down his cheeks as his shoulders sagged in defeat. There was no way out, no escape. His family was everything to him—

he couldn't let them suffer because of him. He had no choice. His voice broke as he finally whispered, "Okay…" He swallowed hard, his words choked with emotion. "I'll do it. I'll… I'll marry you." His body shook as he sobbed, "I'll marry you."

As soon as the words left his mouth, Jungkook's face broke into a victorious grin, his earlier menace replaced by something unnervingly cheerful. He let go of Taehyung's neck, stepping back for a moment to run a hand through his hair, laughing softly to himself.

"I knew it," Jungkook said, his voice full of excitement. He looked at Taehyung with a mix of pride and satisfaction, his smile wide and almost childlike. "I knew you'd say yes. You were always meant to be mine, no matter what. I just... knew it."

Before Taehyung could respond, Jungkook moved closer again, his arms wrapping around Taehyung in a sudden, tight embrace. Taehyung gasped, his body going rigid at the unexpected contact. He tried to push away, but Jungkook's grip was too strong to break.

"You're mine now," Jungkook murmured, his voice softer but still filled with possessiveness. His breath brushed against Taehyung's ear, sending an unwelcome shiver down his spine. "You've always been mine. And now… it's official."

Taehyung stood there, trapped in Jungkook's hold, tears silently streaming down his cheeks. He felt drained, like there was nothing left to fight for. His heart just felt heavy. This wasn't how he'd imagined his future—this wasn't the life he'd wanted.

Jungkook, however, kept him close, a satisfied smile tugging at his lips. To him, this was a win, the final step in something he'd always known was coming. For Taehyung, it felt like the start of a life he hadn't asked for—and one he couldn't seem to get away from.

— Taehyung dragged himself to the dining table and slumped into a chair with a tired sigh. He still felt drained from the night before, his emotions in chaos. Hana moved around the table, setting dishes down, while Daehyun sat with his coffee, flipping through his phone.

Hana moved around the table, setting dishes down, while Daehyun sat with his coffee, flipping through his phone. "Just got up?" Daehyun asked, raising an eyebrow at his son. Taehyung barely looked up as he slid into his chair. "I took a bath," he mumbled, as if that

explained everything. Then Hana placed a plate of pancakes in front of him. "Two are enough," Taehyung muttered to her, poking at them with his fork. "You really bath?" Daehyun asked. Taehyung nodded, and his father just gave a quiet nod in return.

Taehyung looked at him for a moment, then sighed. It wasn't a lie—he had bathed, hoping the cold water would wash away the heaviness pressing down on him. But it hadn't worked. The night before had been a lot. Jungkook hadn't left until late, staying just long enough to make

sure Taehyung knew the wedding wasn't up for discussion. There was no way out of it—no chance to put it off. 𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘐 𝘴𝘶𝘱𝘱𝘰𝘴𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘥𝘰? Taehyung thought, feeling the frustration bubble up. He'd given in, worn down by how relentless the alpha was.

He didn't have much of a choice. And then, Jungkook had taken things even further. Taehyung had wanted to handle it himself, to talk to Seojoon on his own terms. But Jungkook, in his usual alpha way, refused to let that happen. Instead, he forced Taehyung to call Seojoon

late at night, making him sit there while Jungkook took over the call. Taehyung had listened in silent agony as Jungkook informed Seojoon that Taehyung was no longer his fiancé, that he had agreed to marry Jungkook instead. And just to make sure Seojoon got the message,

Jungkook added a threat—if Seojoon so much as thought about meeting Taehyung again, there would be consequences. Then, without giving Seojoon a chance to respond, Jungkook hung up. Taehyung had stood there, feeling completely helpless. Family meant everything to people

like Seojoon, to most people, really. Everyone but Jeon Jungkook, it seemed. "Your eyes are red," Daehyun said, snapping Taehyung out of his thoughts. "Were you up late?" Taehyung blinked and quickly looked down at his plate. "Maybe a little," he muttered, pushing his pancakes

around with his fork. Daehyun sighed, his voice slipping into that familiar lecture mode. "Staying up late like that isn't good for you. You'll start making a habit out of it." Hana gave Daehyun a pointed look as she set another plate on the table. "Let him eat,"she said simply.

Taehyung glanced at his mother, giving her a small, thankful nod before looking back down at his plate. He ate quietly, his fork moving more out of habit than hunger, only half-listening to his parents talk. "Hana, did you show Jin her picture yet?" Daehyun asked,

his gaze fixed on his wife. Taehyung frowned; his curiosity piqued. "What picture?" he asked, glancing between them. "Not yet," Hana replied, ignoring Taehyung's question for the moment. "I was waiting to ask him first if there's someone he likes."

Daehyun leaned back in his chair, crossing his arms. "Fine, but don't take too long. We need to find him a suitable mate sooner rather than later." "Are you talking about Hyung's wedding?" Taehyung cut in, looking from one parent to the other.

"Yes," Hana said, giving him a small smile. "We're just considering some options for him." Taehyung nodded slowly, though he wasn't really paying attention. His mind was still stuck on last night and the mess he'd gotten himself into. He had no idea how he was going to break

the news to his family about agreeing to marry Jungkook. Before he could get lost in his thoughts, the doorbell rang, breaking the silence of the morning. They all looked up, exchanging quick glances. "I'll get it," Hana said, standing up and heading to the door.

Taehyung stayed seated, but something about the sudden interruption made him uneasy. His chest tightened with a weird sense of dread, like the day was already heading off track. And his instincts weren't wrong. A few moments later, he heard his mother's voice from

the living room, welcoming someone inside and asking them to sit. A deeper voice responded with a polite, "Thank you," and Taehyung froze, his breath catching. He recognized that voice instantly. It was Jungkook's father voice.

Taehyung's mind raced, and he gulped, glancing at his dad. Daehyun stood up, looking confused. Without saying much, he headed toward the living room, and Taehyung followed quickly, a knot forming in his stomach. He could already feel something bad was about to happen.

When they walked into the living room, Taehyung's worst fears were confirmed. Jungkook's parents were sitting on the couch. Han looked up and flashed Taehyung a smile. That smile alone made Taehyung realize they knew everything. They were here to talk to his parents,

and it wasn't going to be a fun conversation. Han stood up, walking over to Daehyun and offering a handshake. "Mr. Kim, good to see you again," he said, voice smooth. Daehyun, clearly still trying to figure out what was going on, shook his hand. "Ah, yes. Good to see you too,

Mr. Jeon,"he said, forcing a smile. "Please, have a seat." Hana nodded and sat back down next to Somi, who greeted Daehyun and Hana with the same warmth. Daehyun sat across from them, his expression calm but questioning, while Hana joined him, casting a quick glance at Taehyung.

Taehyung stood by the doorway, his eyes flicking between his parents and Jungkook's, feeling the weight of the situation pressing down on him. His hands were balled into fists at his sides, and his stomach twisted in knots. He hated this feeling, the helplessness creeping in

as he realized how quickly everything was moving—how out of his control it all felt. Then Han broke the silence first. "I hope we're not interrupting, but we didn't have much time to talk, so we came by." Daehyun raised an eyebrow, clearly confused but trying to stay polite.

"No problem, Mr. Jeon. But... what exactly is this about?" Taehyung felt his stomach twist even more. He had planned to break the news himself, but that chance was slipping away fast. Then, Jungkook's mother smiled at his parents—a polite, reassuring smile meant to ease

the tension. But for Taehyung, it had the opposite effect. His chest tightened, and unease settled deep in his gut. "Well, Mr. Kim," Somi began, "we're here to talk about the wedding. They've already made their plans, and I know we should've been told sooner, but our—"

"Hold on a second," Daehyun cut in, his voice sharp as his eyes narrowed. "What wedding? What are you talking about?" Hana, sitting beside him, looked just as confused. Her eyes darted between Somi and Han, trying to figure out where this conversation was going.

Taehyung felt his hands start to sweat. His father was getting angry, and that never led to anything good. Han, on the other hand, didn't look the least bit shaken by Daehyun. If anything, he seemed caught off guard, like he hadn't expected Daehyun to question it at all.

His smile wavered for a second, but he quickly pulled himself together. "Mr. Kim, we're talking about my son's wedding—to your son—" Daehyun didn't even let him finish, his voice growing angrier "Haven't I made myself clear about this already? It's not happening.
