The Zizians story actually goes a lot deeper than people realize because Ziz's origin story is that she was radicalized & driven insane attempting to blow the whistle that MIRI (Eliezer Yudkowsky's org responsible for AI Alighment theory) was involved in a blackmail pedo ring.

@realityspammer (Just for the record that this is totally made up. The thing that happened here is that a disgruntled ex Miri employee made up a bunch of random accusations to extort MIRI. The stories have been debunked dozens of times. There is no whistleblowing here.)

@ohabryka @realityspammer Please link to the debunking of the accusations. I am interested in debunkings of claims like "MIRI/CFAR employees did sex crimes with minors" and "MIRI/CFAR paid off Louie Helm to take down the miricult website".

@jessi_cata @realityspammer Since a lot of the people involved want privacy (including the ex-MIRI employee and various people who keep getting dragged into this as supposed victims against their will) I can DM the relevant FB threads to you, which I think you should be able to access. I also think there

@ohabryka @realityspammer Ok we can talk over DM. I can look at the evidence and see how convincing it is.

@ohabryka @realityspammer Oliver agreed the following sounds right: "ok, to summarize, you believe, and provide some evidence for: - people didn't do statutory rape relevant to miricult while employed at miri/cfar - it's not straightforward blackmail, given the website probably reduced Louie's overall

@jessi_cata @ohabryka Hm yeah it seems like upon more clarity the allegation isnโ€™t that this is a kind of blackmail ring scenario where eg someone has kompromat on a bunch of people and can make them do what they want or they have mutual kompromat and all go down together

@jessi_cata @ohabryka Rather the โ€œblackmailโ€ is just paying this 1 guy to take down a website a bunch of people had already seen? So it seems slightly overblown.

@jessi_cata @ohabryka @realityspammer My assumption was Louie had enough of a claim of lost wages that he could file a lawsuit about it, and MIRI's board preferred to pay back some of the disputed wages rather than pay for lawyers. Does this mesh with what you know?
