I have been told by mutual friend that Fr. Gregory Tucker has sincerely repented, embraced monasticism, and was surprised when he was asked to be ordained. I hope that he issues a public retraction of his past statements on homosexuality, if that is the case.

@JwBCrypto It is the Paris Exarchate, which was under the EP, until about 2018. They are now part of the Russian Church, but they are autonomous, and so are not exactly the same as the MP parishes in Europe.

@frjohnwhiteford I thought that homosexuals weren’t supposed to go and become Priests. I understand that if they are Baptized at some point, that is a consideration, but should people who have lived a majority of their adult life in such egregious error really be considered for such a place?
