Cray Cray is couple’s game app released in January last year. They have one of the largest faceless networks I’ve ever seen being ran by a consumer app. More than 25 accounts, 100% faceless:

On each account, they're testing a different format (design, hooks, etc). But they copy-paste the exact same template over and over and over... and over again. The most viral account has a plot twist:

It’s French => tt@questionsprofondes1 85,700,00 total views in 14 months (that’s an avg of 6M views every single month) Cover: couple picture (from Pinterest) in muted colors + text hook overlay Example:

“5 uncomfortable questions to ask your other half” => 2.8M views, 114K likes, 85K saves “Try the 12 questions trend with your boyfriend” => 2.1M views, 82K likes, 74K saves All covers followed by in-app screenshots w/ questions (and app logo visible)

Same style of picture, same hook font, same format. They copy-paste it on Figma/Canva and just replace the image & change text. Rinse and repeat for all accounts.

These 3 other accounts are in English and making each 10M+ views tt@craycrayquestions7 => pink + icon cover image + text hook in black Hooks are numbered lists like “6 questions you should ask him” 12,300,000 total views in 5 months

tt@craycrayquestions03 => black background + red circle in middle + text hook Exact same hooks and content, but double views by creating a new acc and changing up format Genius, and got 10,200,000 views in 5 months And

tt@questionsfortonight => couple image in pastel colors + text hook Here they’re changing up hooks more, and it’s working => 10,500,000 views in 10 months “Quiz for couples who are madly in love” => 1.4M views “7 risky questions only a loyal partner will dare to answer” =>

tt@bienensemble_ This one is a bit different as they’re testing a comic book format in slideshows, and also French. Turned logo into a mascot (little flame) but before they had another one that didn’t perform (so they switched).

@iamgdsa @iamgdsa how do you decide how to price an app, is there a way to A/B test or a certain formula. If you wanna go of of CAC you won’t know that until it’s too late as the app is already launched.
