🧵 A friend Airbnbs a luxury home in a trendy, exclusive neighborhood in Los Angeles. Recently, a couple stayed in the home for a week. It costs ~ $1000 a night. My friend noticed that the bill was paid by "AirBnB . org." AirBnB runs a charitable foundation that gives free stays to poor people and people made homeless by natural disasters, etc. https://www.airbnb.com/e/airbn...
AirBNB dot org works with "charities" you may have heard of like Catholic Charities and CORE, Sean Penn's charity, and the UN's immigration and refugee services.
All of these charities, of course, and the UN's IOM, are deeply corrupt groups funded by USAID. Sean Penn's CORE received at least $10 million from USAID. Airbnb received millions to house refugees and illegal immigrants in the United States
The couple who rented my friend's luxury home drove an expensive car and seemed to enjoy themselves enormously. They paid zero for their stay--it was covered by taxpayer money getting funneled into a network of charities, NGOs, local government "emergency shelter" websites, and over to Airbnb. You can barely pay your own rent in L.A., but never forget: every night thousands of scammers are ordering DoorDash sushi to luxury 5-star homes they aren't paying a dime for. Because YOU foot the bill.
