🌶️Spicy Solana MEV Story 🌶️ someone is manipulating Jito tips trying to make @paladin_solana look bad 👀 while building a dashboard comparing Paladin APY to Jito APY we saw some Palidators suddenly make 20% less tips that's weird - did we break smtn?🤔 we didn't. 1/4
we immediately tried to fix "our" problem- it didn't work. so 2 large validators (5M SOL each) switched back to running Jito until we solved it 👀but they **still** got 20% less tips👀 you see, the problem is NOT Paladin Paladin didn't hurt tips. someone shadowbanned them 2/
to be clear: if a searcher wants to ban Paladins - that's their right but it does make any data comparison meaningless ☹️ so when @HypoNyms DM validators "the latest Paladin release killed your Jito rewards" this is ABSOLUT BS 💩 do Ben & @temporal_xyz know it's BS? idk 3/
we're still analyzing the data. we definitely see a pattern. we KNOW that -pro validators -different setups -running Jito -suddenly make much less MEV tips funny enough - that let us compare them to Paladin, and Paladin clearly increases APY 😊 we'll share more soon. /4
