Two Easter events today One was an Easter-egg hunt put on by the Church at a local park - little kids went first, then big kids, no drama (Except for some Baptists who stopped people on the way out to give us bibles and tell us we were doing it wrong) Next one was put on by a local HOA, & it was a real production - helicopter egg drop Ostensibly the same rules to give the little kids a shot, but it was a huge crowd, & ~50% Non-Easter-Celebrator/Not-From-Around-Here Americans, so you can imagine how it went I stood on a hilltop, watching a horde of children (& way too many adults) with no connection to one another whatsoever swarm & fight over Chinese plastic & corn syrup dumped from a helicopter, in celebration of the Resurrection of Our Lord It was like something out of Revelation
