@leRaffl Porsche made blatant and fatal mistake using Pouch cells. All taycan produced are for scrap and potential expensive defect

@evclinic @leRaffl Community: any knowledge about Audi Q4 and their HV package? Don’t they use pouch as well? Any problems known? Asking for a friend who just bought an Audi Q4 BEV and a Skoda Enyak

@Titanium70RD @leRaffl They use same or similar design Cell2module pouch cells. And they have similar isolation and defect cell issues.

@evclinic @leRaffl Do you know which cells Stellantis Van use? (Small busses)

@_kay_twit_ @leRaffl Prismatic Samsund sdi

@evclinic I heard the new generation Taycan uses cylindrical cells now.

@evclinic @leRaffl was it a mistake because of their worse relative safety to cylindrical cells?

@evclinic @leRaffl Pouch cells for high end sports car was not good idea from the start.

@evclinic @leRaffl "Pouch cells bad" is a lazy message. Every one of us has a pouch cell in our phones. Was that a bad choice too?

@evclinic @leRaffl EV Clinic knows best👌🏻

@evclinic @leRaffl Wäre es technisch möglich eine Tesla Batterie in den Taycan einzubauen 😉

@evclinic @leRaffl What about Mercedes EQE?

@evclinic @leRaffl Hyundai still use pouch cells, and there is no problem

@evclinic @leRaffl What about the Macan BEV? Same cells?

@evclinic @leRaffl Is the cell format really to blame for LG's manufacturing defects? Seems more like coincidence to me -- could have hit any other format instead...

@evclinic @leRaffl Wow. So the Taycan is not a good buy?! Man this is some crucial information. Thanks @evclinic

@evclinic @leRaffl Stupid German 🇩🇪 Sonderweg @Porsche 🤦‍♂️

@evclinic @leRaffl For EVs, I only promote Tesla, partly because I don't believe auto makers can do software, because no real talent will work for them.
