On 24 April, 19-year-old Ahmadi Muhammad Asif was shot dead in Bhulair, Kasur. He and another youth were attacked near their home. This follows years of harassment in the area, including threats, attacks on homes, and a campaign to shut down the local Ahmadiyya worship place. 1/2

This is the second murder of an Ahmadi in the space of a week. On 18 April, Laeeq Ahmad Cheema was killed in Karachi during an attack on an Ahmadi mosque. These killings reflect the unrelenting wave of violence Ahmadis have faced across Pakistan since the start of 2025. 2/2
