We are deeply saddened to report that on 26 April 2025, at least two civilians were killed by elements of the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) in South Nertiti, Darfur. The victims, both members of the Fur tribe, were carrying out their daily work when they were fatally targeted. This incident highlights a troubling pattern of violence against civilians in conflict-affected areas of Darfur. DNHR strongly calls for an urgent, independent investigation to ensure accountability and uphold the principles of international humanitarian law.
