Rodya is most certainly the most misunderstood sinner in the entire game, with her mask and act fooling nearly every single member of the fan base, for good reason too, because she even manages to fool herself into thinking everything is okay.
In her slightly younger years, Rodion involved herself with Sonia and the Yurodiviye in district 25, and at this point in her life, she truly believed that she could make a difference in the world with Sonia's guiding hand.
Rodya believed herself to be a revolutionary, someone important , she believed she would have a chance to truly make a difference. She saw the suffering of every single person by the hands of high taxes and capitalism, so she knocked on the tax collectors door, axe in hand.
Her base E.G.O reflects that moment. Rodya struck down the tax collector... and... She believed she had made a difference. She felt important. Proud. Until, the middle retaliated. See, the middle happened to be associated with that collector. Killing everyone in the village.
She had hoped that she could convince the tax collector to be more forgiving, but, it didn't happen. She was met with mockery and she struck him down. And she paid the price for it. Her base E.G.O reflects that regret. " I couldn't undo a thing. "
She deeply regrets that mistake, and the lives lost that day, and it led to her creating a mask around herself, hiding her true self, and her own selfish desire to be important and meaningful. Many people wonder about her bad end ID, but currently, she is her own bad end.
Her quote from Crime and Punishment reflects that. The full quote being "He wished he could forget himself completely, forget everything, to wake up and begin afresh." The weight of all of those deaths nearly crushing her as she continued onward.
Rodion is actually shown numerous times acting differently on purpose to stick out, such as in the art for the LCB Checkup.
Sonia offered her a place back in the Yurodiviye, but even then, she felt she did not have the right to bathe in that warmth after what she had caused. Rodya's entire personality is a huge mask to cover up the regret, self hatred, and selfish desires she has.
Rodya has wonderful parallels with our beloved sinner Gregor, wherein which Gregor does not want to be seen, wanting to avoid the spotlight, unlike her, who wants to bathe in it because she truly believes that she is special. Yet Gregor also feels as if he is dangerous.
The ID most reflective of Rodya as a whole is Princess Rodya, the spotlight is entirely on her, and much like Dulcinea, Rodion is the center of attention, and the center of expectation in that world. Dulcinea also puts on a mask, just like Rodion for those expectations.
Even in time killing time, her mask slips, and she truly wonders if she should be moving forward instead of focusing on the past and what she has done, but even after being crucial in identifying the Time Ripper, she is still disappointed in herself, downplaying her role heavily.
I find it important to mention her most unhappiest identity is when she is working as a time collector, a direct antithesis to her very self and character. She seems so disgusted with herself and disappointed, she doesn't even enjoy herself anymore.
All in all, Rodion is a character who wears a perpetual mask to cover up her own self hatred, selfishness, and guilt. She, along with Gregor, are the only sinners without a completed story. She isn't just a silly russian girl, she's a complex character. Very complex.
