Why is South Africa---or all of Africa---so screwed up? Yes, because it's full of Africans. But it's also because the libtarded West actively promoted the worst, most murderous leaders and groups while ruining the few decent, moral men that continent produces. Some examples.
We all know about Rhodesia. But did you know that the Rhodesian government reached its own settlement with nonviolent, anticommunist black nationalists? In 1978, the Internal Settlement reformed Rhodesia as Zimbabwe Rhodesia, a republic with expanded rights for blacks.
The Internal Settlement was motivated by Rhodesia's loss of foreign support in the Bush War and their mounting losses against Marxist guerrillas. Zimbabwe Rhodesia's first election saw the UANC's Abel Muzorewa become prime minister in a coalition with Ian Smith.
The "international community"---with Jimmy Carter leading the charge---rejected the Internal Settlement because it excluded the Soviet- and Chinese-backed guerrillas. The UN ruled the settlement "illegal," denying Zimbabwe Rhodesia international recognition.
In South Africa, Mangosuthu Buthelezi was a prominent anti-communist, anti-apartheid politician in the 80s. The leader of the Zulu bantustan, you might recognize him from his role in the 1964 movie ZULU, where he played the Zulu king (his own ancestor).
Buthelezi was a harsh critic of the ANC, arguing that it was controlled by communists. He also opposed international sanctions on South Africa because they disproportionately impoverished blacks and he had a responsibility for the welfare of his people.
Tensions between the ANC and the Inkatha Freedom Party (Buthelezi's party) became violent, and Buthelezi walked out on negotiations to end apartheid because the ANC and de Klerk were screwing him over. He formed an alliance with white Afrikaners to combat the new government.
Buthelezi initially refused to participate in the multiracial election of 1994 because of how the Zulus got shafted in negotiations. Ian Smith articulated a similar concern in THE GREAT BETRAYAL; black majority rule in Rhodesia would lead to inter-tribal violence and genocide.
Let's go to a more recent example: Laurent Nkunda. Remember the Rwandan genocide? You probably don't know that when the Tutsi routed the Hutu genocidaires, they fled into the Congo, where the oh-so-helpful UN was there to give them food and pats on the head.
The Hutus kept killing and raping Tutsis in the Congo well into the late 2000s, which nobody cared about. Laurent Nkunda, a Tutsi colonel in the Congolese army, formed his own militia and fought back, scoring victory over victory against Hutu armies more than twice as big.
And what did Nkunda, a devout Christian who was defending his people from genocide, get for his trouble? Smeared as a "war criminal" and refused all international aid. He was eventually arrested after Rwanda made a deal with the Congo to get rid of him.
So yes, Africans gonna African. But the entire postcolonial history of Africa is communists and psychos being pushed by the "international community" while good men, men like Buthelezi and Nkunda, are marginalized and hunted. The libtards set Africa up to fail.
