1. Lower food prices at the checkout.    By making food and agriculture trade with the EU cheaper and easier, we’re bringing down food prices, giving shoppers more choice, and putting more money in your pocket.

2. Driving down energy bills.    The agreement negotiated by the previous government damaged our energy security. This government is increasing our cooperation on energy to bring bills down in the long term.

3. Stronger borders.    The previous deal left a huge gap in our ability to work together to tackle illegal migration and smash the criminal gangs putting people on small boats.     Today we close that gap.

4. Shorter queues when you go holiday.    Instead of waiting in long queues at passport control, Brits travelling to Europe will now be able to use e-Gates.     Getting you on holiday faster.

5. A more secure Britain, with more jobs in our defence industry.    In an era of global instability, our new defence and security partnership will delivery security at home and strength abroad.

6. UK businesses save millions.    With more cooperation on emissions trading, UK businesses will no longer have to pay £800 million in carbon taxes.

7. Backing British steel.     We’re saving the industry £25m each year by protecting our steel exports from new EU tariffs.

8. Protecting our access, rights and fishing areas.    With no increase in the amount that EU vessels can catch in British waters, fewer costs and less red tape.   And to make the most of this deal we’re investing £360 million into our fishing industry to drive growth and jobs.

9. Combatting terrorism and serious organised crime.    With more cooperation on law enforcement, we'll work closer with the EU with the sharing of intelligence, including facial recognition data for the first time.

10. This deal is good for bills, good for jobs, and good for our borders.     We rolled up our sleeves to deliver what the last government couldn’t.
