The reason a lot of Asia-fixated white people love Japan and Korea, while despising China, is b/c they covet East Asian cultural homogeneity, depth, social order, and functional urbanism. Japan and Korea provide the illusion that East Asians learned these things from whites. /
Thus, the lack of such order in America is due to racial pollution, black and brown crime, and liberal degeneracy. A modernized China, however, presents a problem, b/c China was never under "white control" (an illusion they think they see in Japan and Korea). /
Thus this insistence that either (1) China 'stole' their way to modernity through theft of white technology, (2) China is actually poor and backwards it's all fake, and/or (3) China is actually advancing through covert acceptance of white influence in the coastal cities. /
The whole thing is based on (1) white loss of confidence through the decline of Western living standards and cultural infleunce, (2) a coveting of East Asian culture and urbanism, and (3) a belief in white ownership of Japan and Korea.
Even the 'pro China' whites often believe that China as an East Asian country can take the ball pretty far, they need whites to 'go all the way' like they believe Japan and Korea did (they didn't). Thus this feeling that Chinese need white help in branding and PR (they don't).
