Mold and mycotoxins are some of the primary drivers behind a lot of people's health issues. Here are some things to consider for effectively battling them. Thread 🧵

*Standard disclaimer that nothing in this thread should be used as a substitute for medical advice*. It's George. First and foremost, we are all exposed to various kinds of mold. Mold overall is not the issues, certain types that release mycotoxins such as: -Aflatoxins such

are the problem since these can cause anything from cancer, infertility, G.I issues, MCAs, kidney disease all the way to mitochondrial dysfunction (fatigue to put it simply) and eczema once they are: 1. Ingested (most common route of exposure) 2.Inhalated 3. Or contacted with

Now what should you do in order to prevent these from negatively impacting your health?. Buy vitamins and supplements Step 1: First and foremost, identify the most common sources of mycotoxins which are: -Pork (pigs are often fed grains contaminated with ochratoxin A) -Nuts

Step 2: Shop locally. When it comes to grains and dried fruit, for example some may have fungal problems in the field but plenty of them grow mold during storage and shipping.

Step 3: Optimize endogenous glutathione and production and support glucuronidation. Most mold toxins are detoxed via a pathway called glucuronidation. Glutathione (the substance that’s been made in the glutathione pathway) is made mainly from three amino acids: glycine,

Step 4: a-MSH max. 90% of mold-exposed patients have low levels of a-MSH. Now POMC is a precursor polypeptide primarily produced in the pituitary gland, the skin and the hypothalamus. I like to call it a “master precursor” even though it’s incorrect because it gets cleaved

Now when a key cleavage products of POMC is Alpha-MSH (Melanocyte-Stimulating Hormone) This one is expressed mainly in the hypothalamic arcuate nucleus and nucleus tractus solitarius of the brainstem and stimulates melanocytes to produce eumelanin, inhibits pro-inflammatory

Step 5: Optimize melatonin http://production.pubmed.ncbi.... How does the body produce melatonin? In a nutshell: Melatonin is made from the aromatic amino acid tryptophan whose indole structure (a benzene ring fused to a pyrrole ring) contains a conjugated π-electron system that give it

Tips: 1. Make sure that your days are bright (go outside). http://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov... 2. Block the artificial blue light. http://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov... 3. Do not exercise intensely late in the day. http://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov... 4. Chill with fasting. 5. Take care of the electron transport

Step 6: Support bile flow and excretion. Many mycotoxins are fat soluble and you can support the above by providing the right building blocks / following the right habits which are: -Choline -Glycine -Taurine -Vitamin C (without it 7-alpha-hydroxylase won't work that great).

Step 7: Test for: â—Ź Satratoxin G and H â—Ź Roridin A, E and H â—Ź Verrucarin A and J â—Ź Zearalenone â—Ź Aflatoxin M1 (AFM1) â—Ź Sterigmatocystin (STG) â—Ź Roridin E â—Ź Ochratoxin A (OTA) â—Ź Enniatin B1 â—Ź Verrucarin A â—Ź Gliotoxin â—Ź Mycophenolic Acid â—Ź Chaetoglobosin A

Step 8: Use certain binders and antifungals depending on what came back positive. When it comes to aflatoxin, what works is: saccharomyces boulardii, bentonite clay and activated charcoal (AC). When it comes to gliotoxin what works is: saccharomyces boulardii and bentonite

Also: -Consider the Lactobacillus rhamnosus strain GG and the L. rhamnosus strain LC705 for zearalenone, curcumin or/and blackseed oil for aflatoxin B1. -Two swiss knifes that help with exposure to pretty much any of these are quercetin and saffron. -Keep the humidity levels

@Helios_Movement Consider that most mold is hidden and most of the time air tests won’t pick it up
