🧵On Friday, @sra_solicitors wrote to me that it was opening an investigation into @riverwaylaw & myself over @RobertJenrick's report to them over our representation of Hamas. Today, I received an email from @Telegraph. It seems Jenrick is eager to trumpet this ‘success’.

One of the problems with low-grade politicians being appointed to senior positions is that it gives them & their racism undue influence over regulators who - rather than treat them as glorified trolls - feel obliged to open investigations over the most spurious allegations.

It is obvious to anyone with the most elementary understanding of due process that providing legal representation to a client does not provide any basis for impugning those providing that representation. I have already responded at length to Jenrick here. https://www.lawgazette.co.uk/c...

Just last week Jenrick was playing the same game calling for the Att Gen Lord Hermer to be sacked over his previous representation of 'controversial' clients. He regularly attacks sitting judges creating a climate of intimidation, something @SRjudgeslawyers should investigate.

I'll assist the SRA with any queries. I'm confident it will conclude that Jenrick's report is yet another attempt by the pro-genocide lobby to disrupt the work of those who refuse to be silenced by events that have turned global opinion against the settler colonial project in

We must all continue our efforts to expose and challenge Zionism, the ideology at the root of Israeli apartheid & genocide. Zionism is in a terminal crisis. Seeking to murder its opponents in Gaza and smear them in the West are simply the death throes of this monstrous regime.

To learn more about the efforts of Britain’s apartheid apologists lobby to target anti-genocide activists, please read this comprehensive report by @CAGEintl https://www.cage.ngo/articles/...
