why is no one talking about the fact that THEY REMOVED THE HOME BAR FROM APPS
@app_settings Conditioning phase complete. New habit unlocked. No need for visual cue.
@wllottnwldr yeah that makes sense
@app_settings it was there to guide users in the initial days of gesture nav. now that everyone knows to use gestures, its purpose came to an end. RIP home bar basically they removed an unnecessary visual element, and they did it througout the system, putting an emphasis on the content itself
@lokeshtrajan yeah that makes sense, this is gonna take some getting used to tho ngl
@app_settings it's burned into my screen lol
@advaithj1 damn wth 😠this is actually one of the reasons I use auto dark mode- it’s way harder for system elements to get burned in when they switch colors every 12 hours
@app_settings Why can't users just get the choice lmao ðŸ˜
@MicrosoftvApple picking the best choice and giving users the most streamlined experience is kinda Apple’s whole thing lol ðŸ˜
@app_settings holy cow wtf 💀
@yashwanth941v i kinda like it ngl.. it gives apps more screen real estate that being said, this is really gonna take some getting used to
@app_settings Goat followed me. I’m the chosen one
@SyntheVisuals right back at you 💪
@app_settings What the hell
@Cartidise idk i kinda like it lol
@app_settings Average iPhone users have become Pro users.
@lakshyalark Lmaoo real
@app_settings Just noticed that lol It’s sort of odd
@alextfife yeah
@app_settings Is this good?
@ITangoI i like it ngl, it allows apps to use more of the screen
@app_settings Right! So stoked. Finally
@SurfShreddSnow sameeee iOS 26 is so cool
@app_settings Yeah surprised noone has mentioned this
@UrataSyndicate ikr? it was one of the first things I noticed while watching the keynote lmao
@app_settings Nah man. I liked the home bar. Looked iconic. And gave a visual indication to when the home swipe would work in full screen apps.
@app_settings Because we’ve been conditioned and we don’t need it anymore. Or because everything we see is actually designed for the next iPhone. (Probably not but I’ll take the hopium)
