Your thyroid is the control center for your: • Energy • Metabolism • Overall health If it’s not working properly, your entire life suffers. Here’s what you need to know about thyroid health, why it’s important, (& how to fix it):

1. What the thyroid does: Your thyroid produces hormones (T3 and T4) that regulate: • Hair • Skin • Heart rate • Nail growth • Energy production These hormones are critical for keeping your metabolism running efficiently.

2. How it works: Thyroid hormones are controlled by a feedback loop: 1) TRH (Thyrotropin-releasing hormone) signals the pituitary to release TSH. 2) TSH (Thyroid-stimulating hormone) tells the thyroid to produce T4 & T3.

3) T4 converts to T3 (most conversion happens in the liver & kidneys). 4) T3 enters cells and powers your metabolism and body functions.

3. The problem: When the feedback loop is disrupted, it can lead to: 1) Hyperthyroidism: Excess thyroid hormones which overstimulate your metabolism. 2) Hypothyroidism: Low thyroid hormone levels which slow down your metabolism.

4. Symptoms of low thyroid function: • Fatigue • Brain fog • Low energy • Weight gain • Constipation • Hair thinning • Cold hands & feet If these sound familiar, your thyroid might need support.

5. What causes thyroid issues? It can be attributed to many things, such as: • Chronic stress • Gut health problems • Autoimmune conditions • Micronutrient deficiencies • Over-reliance on restrictive diets or high-stress lifestyles

6. The gut-thyroid connection: Your gut & thyroid are closely linked: Gut issues like: • SIBO • H. pylori • Gluten sensitivity Can also disrupt thyroid function. A healthy gut improves nutrient absorption for thyroid hormone production.

7. How to fix your thyroid: 1) Heal your gut: • Include probiotic & prebiotic-rich foods to restore balance. • Eliminate inflammatory foods like seed oils & processed junk food.

2) Support your liver: • Your liver converts T4 to T3, so keep it healthy with antioxidant-rich foods.

3) Manage stress: • Stress disrupts hormone production, so prioritize sleep, relaxation, and movement.

4) Eat for thyroid health: • Organic fruits & vegetables • Nutrient-dense carbs • High-quality proteins

8. Supplements to improve thyroid health: • Zinc supports T3 production. • Iodine is essential for T3 and T4 production. • Selenium protects the thyroid from oxidative stress.

• Magnesium improves energy production and relaxation. • Probiotics rebuild gut health for better nutrient absorption. • Vitamin D enhances immune function and thyroid regulation.

The bottom line: A healthy thyroid starts with fixing root causes like: • Stress • Gut health • Nutrient deficiencies. Don’t just treat symptoms… Fix the foundation for long-term health & energy.
