The Lost Vedic Science of Time Travel — Kālacakra Explained 😱 Most people think Time Travel is just science fiction. But the ancient Rishis had already spoken about moving through time, seeing the future, and even bending time itself.. thousands of years ago. A Thread 🧵
📌 Time Is Not Linear, It’s Cyclical 🔹 Modern science sees time as a straight line: past → present → future. 🔹 But Sanātana Dharma says: “Time moves in cycles.” The universe is not a one-time creation.
👉 It is created, sustained, destroyed and recreated again... endlessly. This cycle is called: ➡️ Srishti (creation) ➡️ Sthiti (preservation) ➡️ Pralaya (dissolution) And this keeps repeating in loops. This is the foundation of Kālacakra — the “Wheel of Time.”
📌 Scriptural Source That Mention Time Travel Here is a real example where time dilation and time travel is clearly described: 👉 King Kakudmi & Rāvaṇa’s Time Shift (Bhāgavata Purāṇa 9.3.28-33) King Kakudmi went to visit Brahmā Ji in Satyaloka with his daughter Revati. — He
📌 Kālacakra: What Is It? The word Kālacakra means: Kāla = Time Cakra = Wheel Together: The Wheel of Time.
It is not just a concept, it was a system used to: 👉 Understand time in multiple dimensions (lokas) 👉 Predict future events (like the rise of Kalki) 👉 Calculate past and future cycles of creation In fact, the Yuga system is based on this wheel.
📌 Yugas: A Journey Through Time Let’s see what the Vedas say about time units: 1 Mahāyuga = — Satya Yuga (17,28,000 years) — Treta Yuga (12,96,000 years) — Dvāpara Yuga (8,64,000 years) — Kali Yuga (4,32,000 years) = Total: 4.32 million years
...And 1 day of Brahmā = 1,000 Mahāyugas = 4.32 billion years These weren’t random numbers. Modern science now estimates Earth’s age to be around 4.5 billion years. This means: The Vedic model of time was accurate to a billion-year scale. 👉 Is that not astonishing?
📌 Consciousness: The Vehicle for Time Travel The Vedas don’t talk about time machines made of metal. They describe time travel through: ➡️ Tapasya (concentration) ➡️ Dhyāna (meditation) ➡️ Samādhi (absorption of mind)
🔹 In deep meditative states, a person could: See past births. Experience the future. Move across realms. This is called "Trikāla Jñāna" — knowledge of the past, present, and future. 👉 Even Shree Krishna Krishna tells Arjuna in the Gītā (4.5): “Both you and I have passed
📌 How Many Dimensions of Time Exist? According to Purāṇic cosmology, there are multiple Lokas, higher and lower planes of existence. Each Loka has its own flow of time: 👉 Satyaloka 1 day = 1.728 billion Earth years Time almost stands still 👉 Svargaloka 1 day = 1 year on
👉 Patalaloka 1 day = Several Earth days Time moves faster This is eerily close to what Einstein’s relativity says: “Time moves differently depending on where you are and how fast you're moving.” Our ancestors already knew this.
Sanātana Dharma spoke about time travel thousands of years ago — long before science even named it. What today’s scientists call “discovery”… was stolen from our Gurukuls and rebranded. Our Rishis lived it. The West just renamed it.
