Tough day for the Hypixel team and fans of Hytale. We are still processing on our end. I want to thank everyone for the support we've been given over the years, I am immensely grateful for the opportunity to be a part of this team. I also want to call out that we ran out of time with our best team on the field. It hurts, but sometimes that is how it goes. Please do not hesitate to consider them for roles on your team.
I can't go into much more detail than what is in the announcement from Noxy. It wasn't feature creep or development hell. The team did a great job reducing scope as well as clarifying vision and process over the past 18 months (my time as EP). Every announcement I made on behalf of the team was accurate. It's not satisfying to hear this, but the hill was just too tall for the time we had.
I have one very obvious regret, not shipping, but other than that it has been a difficult and rewarding project. I love Hytale, Hypixel, and the community we were making this game for. I wear the ink with pride.
